A C-tier PDGA and North Carolina Championship Series Tournament.
All Amateurs will receive a Horizons Park Classic golf disc.
Please pre-register as the field is limited to 90 participants.
This will be a two day, four round disc golf tournament at Horizons Park in Winston Salem.
A mandatory players meeting is at 10:30 AM, with the first round starting at 11:00 AM.
All PDGA divisions with three or more players will be available.
Entry fees: Pro divisions, $50; Advanced divisions, $40; other divisions $30.
Non-PDGA members must add $5. The entry fee includes a $1 per round ace pool contribution.
A special room rate for disc golfers is available at the Days Inn, 5218 Germanton Road, 336-744-5755.
Camping is available at Knotty Pines Disc Golf Country Club.

Lots of traveling and late nights returning from tournaments, please consider an earlier Sunday start. It would be helpful to a lot of people driving from down east to be a part of this great weekend. ;)

Ok Guy's and Gal's, I just completed a couple of rounds at Horizon, with my CupcAce and friends Andrew and Wyatt Coggin. CupcAce and Wyatt won the double in a seven hole playoff, and Wyatt won the Single. I say CupcAce, because She got her first Ace today, and it was a bueat. Hole 15, Pro Wraith, CHING. We had a great time and thank Wyatt for making it Special. For those that are not entered into this Tnmt, sorry. If you have been good this year, ate your veggies, opened a door for someone, or left the Toilett seat up, enter this tnmt, it is a bueatiful course, a hidden gem. Congrats CupcAce, and Wyatt

Looks like there will be 41!!! I have to pull out of this event for a funeral on Saturday.

A dear friend of mine passed away last Thursday and his service is Saturday at 3. Greensboro has lost a great individual. I tried to introduce him to our sport several times, but he could never get on the right path of life. Disc Golf is great for people searching for a purpose and has help me better myself. I am posting this on here because I would like people to learn from his mistakes. He was with me in Yadkinville and will be for a long while.

I hope you all have a wonderful tourney and hope to make it out there Sunday to congradulate the winners.

RIP Seth Michael Parker...You will be missed.

The HPC is always a great time (unless your putter ain't working). Back in '97 or '98, I played on Larry Leonard's card and witnessed him score a 6 on one of the holes. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I would've never believed it! Good luck to everyone this weekend.... :)

we shall see - lots of good competition in the open division, as it is every weekend in this area.

But I'm def. playing good right now - last night shot -15 in doubles at Cedar with my partner.

I've said this many times, no matter how strong or weak a field is, my goal is never to win. Only to have fun and play well.

If I play well and someone beats me, thats fine. I would rather play well and miss cash that win and play poorly.

If you haven�t already cast your PDGA ballot I am now running for NC State Coordinator.

I just found out that since Hall of Famer Alan Beaver is planning on moving to Chapin SC he has decided not to run for State Coordinator this year.

I had not planned to run unless I was sure that Alan was moving.

Finally the work week is over, now the baggers get to play. We get to play with Legends, Hall of Famers, and at least 2 World Champions (Lil Coggins, Lil Wiggins), it doesn't get any better than this. Plus some big announcement, maybe 2. I may announce that I'm running for President of the United States Bagger association. Please Vote if I do. Get there safe, bring your game, and attitude, set a good example, and lets have fun. I wish all my competitors good luck, and if your a better bagger than I, so be it. I want to par the first hole. Simple as that. May rain, so we can wash our plastic, and cool off some.

No, but it was an honor to have the GodfaTTher on the lead card all Sunday (as well as Chris Lee, Mike Edwards, and Brock Stimpson) for my first Open win. It was truly a pleasure playing with these guys.

Congratulations to all of the winners as well as Kevin with the big ace on #17 with 2 holes to play (to take home the entire ace pot for the weekend)!!!

I had a tough time this weekend and freaking popping my wrist and it swelling up during the second round sucked.

It started feeling better Saturday night and this morning I was back in playing shape as I got 9 outta 10 to start.

Just after that, I re-popped it and couldn't do anything right the rest of the day.

This was the first time I ever got hurt during a tournament and it really sucked - I just hope this injury doesn't cost me the USDGC spot like it looks it might :mad:

Riverdog; thanks for the virtual hug and the Real ones I got from you and Fran today! Nice surprise seeing you two there! I did get a very nice long putt (30 ft)? for a birdie on hole 11 that made my day!

I had an awful round Sunday morning and a great round Sudnay afternoon. Thanks to Dave and Ben for their encouragement and Rick Black who kept the card and never mentioned my score to me, I asked to see it with a few holes left and he said "you just keep shooting and I'll take care of the score card".
