I have heard of this guy before but I don't know anything about him? Who is he? I know he is a long thrower because he was mentioned in the Voigt interview after he set the distance record. I am just curious because I love the nickname.

Jack hails from fredericksburg VA. He has won VA States at least 5 times. He has one of the quickest releases from his 360 when throwing Distance. I have know him for about 15 years...and have yet to hear him called "the ripper". He is one of the most well rounded over all players in the country.

Last I saw him was a couple of weeks ago and he was acting as Crazy John's personal limo driver.

jack has been one of the worlds longest throwers for a long time. he is much more of an "all around" guy than a golfer. he is incredibly smooth.he was the first person i ever saw throw freakishly far. i think he still lives in richmond, i know he is a fixture at va states every year.

Cooksey is the Man! Chilled with him at the grange when I was down there. Hes a laugh riot and a super cool dude.

i would guess that was jack's brother rob at the grange, he's there often, jack much less so. of course, i could be wrong...
