why not use Lago-definitely a fun course and the lake is currently at a good level.

May 14 2007, 11:31 AM
the course is about 4 feet tall and the condos we use to stay at are being torn down and the only other lodging was around $150 a night.
thanks for the donations and since this is not sanctioned bring on the JACK!!!! :)

May 14 2007, 11:35 AM
there will be a birsket lunch provided on saturday for $5 donations which all goes to the charity.
most likely we will also have breakfast tacos on both mornings but still trying to confirm. also there will be a cart lady with refreshments cruising the course. :D:p

Circle R in Wimberley is still there. And we're still working on ways to keep it there.

That's not a bad idea...the greater the turnout, the more money goes to a great cause. I think Vinnie mentioned it costs $1 more a player to compensate for a Southern National affiliation. In fact, that's what Vinnie's doing this weekend...playing a non-sanctioned Southern National Qualifier in Arkansas.

Hey, Chris, even though I won't pay you til saturday morning, you can list me under the old mens open division. It will help the youngsters make a decision; they'll realize that if a long, wide-open course isn't detering a short arm old man from playing open, it shouldn't deter them either.
