I will be going to Portland, OR next month and would like any recommendations on which courses to play. I may only be able to play 2 courses, which two are the best?

I would recommend Pier Park and Dabney is also a good course and is about 25 minutes form Downtown Portland
Check out this map, to find all the courses
Portland Courses (http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/misc/oregon_disc_golf.html)
I also recommend Milo McIver if you like playing big courses but it is in Estacada, about a 40 minute drive and it is typically setup as a 27 hole course, a map for it can be found here Milo 27 (http://beaverstatefling.com/27holecourse.html). Timber is also right there in Estacada and is also a good course!
You can also check out the locals forum boards at ODSA (http://www.odsa.com/forum/) if you register and post, someone will probably offer to show you around.
Where are you coming from?

These are good choices, but I'd suggest that you play McIver even if it means that it's the only course you'll be able to play. It's long and beautiful.

Thank you for the advise. I appologize for not getting back sooner. The three parks listed will probably make the grade.
Living in Austin and playing hot, flat, rocky, and thorny courses beat you up. I guess I figure if I can survive down here, I should surely play everything Portland has to offer.
