Lee, the lo-lo is that you need to come up here and play this event. It's always a good time and my brother Jerry will be here.
We run two pools. The "A" pool, all pro and adv fields, will play four rounds at N.E. Lions. The "B" pool, all rec, am2, and jr players, will play 3 rounds ant Lions ( 2 Sat and 1 Sun) and one at Colonial (Sun).

Did everyone see the above subject? Not the 4th, not the 15th but the 29th annual Norman Pro/Am!!!!
This event is one of the longest running tournaments in the World. It is played on one of the first courses installed in the US of A. I started playing disc golf about 27 years ago and it was on this course, and here, 30 years after it was installed, it is still a great course. The full 18 is comprised of the orginal 9 with 9 holes added over the years. It is across the Memorial Day weekend and is a blast.
I have played or helped with this event at least 11 to 12 times and keep coming back for more. The current World's Advanced Master Champion will be at this event and so should you! See everyone in just over a week.....

It is with a sad heart that I must now remove myself from the player's making this 29 year old event. This past weekend I injured my knee throwing a frisbee in a game of catch. Not driving a disc for distance, not attempting a difficult roller shot, but throwing a 98 gram frisbee. Oh the shame of it all....
Good luck to the players and I hope to see you next year.
By the way, I have either torn the interior meniscus OR torn my ACL. Doc thinks the meniscus, but only the MRI I had this morning can tell me for sure. If you are the praying sort, please pray for a meniscus injury. I could actually be playing golf again in 6 weeks if that is the case.

Scores are up!
I've never been to this tournament, but by the looks of the scores, it looks to be a very easy course or just a bunch of baggers in the lower divisions.

The course is not long, however there are a lot of blind shots over trees. The lower divisions play play 10 short tees so we don't spend all day looking for crap in the rough.
And there are plenty of baggers.
