Jonas,
Players party at the beach??? Skins on the beach. 2000' straight hole with water down the side and thick sand to throw out of? I might have to bring the family so I can make this one...and I'm not talking about my nephew.

It is sure to be a great event. I have the CDGC and Team Chuck players helping me run this event. We should have some free bees like sandwiches and chips and drinks like last time. They will also be having a cart girl selling beverages at the 10th tee pad area.
Free swims in the lake after the rounds, very refreshing.
Camping information can be had by calling the Trophy Lakes shop listed on the flyer. It is a nice camping setup.

It does get that cold in Charleston.....about every other year, at the Classic (who can forget 32 degrees, rain, & 25 MPH winds one year).....but it WON'T get that cold at Trophy Lakes this June.
For anyone who hasn't been there yet, make the trip. Note that "Trophy Lakes" is plural, and you'll get lots of chances to make a splash. There's plenty of water and they use it in all kinds of ways, so you get to play the "risk vs. reward" mental game a lot.

Trophy Lakes is the most improved course I've played.
I use to really not like it, but the changes that have been done are ALL better and make the course a fun, fair, and challenging course.
Hole 10 is one of my favorite holes in disc golf.

It is one of the most challenging courses for a lefty to compete on. If there is water... it is on the right side of the pin/fairway, except for 1 hole (Hole 3?). Making a reverse layout of the same holes would be quite interesting.

I guess you better make sure you birdie #3.
Mike Farnham will provide free tips on how a lefty can score 1000+ rated rounds at Trophy Lakes.

It was a hot one in Charleston. Almost a Team Chuck sweep except Advanced Women. Big thanks to the Charleston Disc Golf Club (espeically Dave, Ric, Lauren, Tradd, Heywood, Craig, Joe-e, Trevor, Levi, Hamil and everyone else who helped us with the course maintenance). H2Osmosis is a great sponsor and Lionheart Auto Repair for the wonderful sponsorship $500. Our open payout was 300, 200, 150, 100. Paying out the top 4. Not too many C tiers with that good a payout.
Open-Tradd "no thanks" Rodenburg
Advanced-Dave "forever bagger" Wheeler
Advanced Master-Dave "master crusher" Heywood
Advanced Grandmaster-Tim Coghill (still Team Chuck)
Intermediate-Craig "first time" Wrenn
Advanced Women-Melanie Hughes (from Georgia)
See you in December!

I didn't even realize the TEAM CHUCK domination until last night after I had a chance to decompress. Big props to Jonas for his TD job getting the sponsers and working out all the details, all I did was count cards and run the scoreboard. Thanks to everyone who came out and we missed those who didn't. TEAM CHUCK will be representin in Easley on Saturday!
