I've heard rumors of a plan for a NCAA tournament in the near future. Any chance these rumors are true?

Are we talking about single elimination rounds? Like Tiki Madness at the Grange? Sounds fun!

No, I mean like a Collegiate tournament and the future of college disc golf. Just like a NCAA baseball college team.

It will never work. NCAA would throw a fit, if they saw one of their athletes smoking a cigarrette setting up for a putt. :D

Again, I hope Disc Golf never tries to go the NCAA-sanctioned route. That would be the best way to ensure that it doesn't take off at the collegiate level. No school is going to rush to add another non-revenue sport.

Copy the UPA model, so you can set your own rules for eligibility, competition, etc.

At this point disc golf is like all the other non-revenue sports. Colleges are looking at ways to reduce the number of these sports they have now instead of increasing them. Disc golf is going to be a club sport and nothing more until we get to the point where professional are making enough to either support teams at their colleges or make donations to the college with having a disc golf team as one of the stipulations.
