I'm sure that Matt Odenwelder will represent Texas well- he just started playing less than 7 months ago and has been on the leader card at every event that he has played besides TX States.

From Rusco:
I SURVIVED THE DD SAFARI!!! Hmmm....might have to get some shirts with this to remember the tournament, even though I know it won't ever be forgotten from anyone who decided to stick around and play. The weather was just crazy. I wish we could have played on Saturday and had 100+ people show up! What a difference one day can make in the weather!

I really want to thank everyone who came out and stuck the event out! It really meant a lot to have everyone there with, for the most part, no complaints! Maybe some dead weekend we can put together a non-sanctioned event using the course and have everyone enjoy it.

A SHOUT OUT to all the players who traveled from so far away. The St. Joseph crew and Arkansas crew come to mind right away! It was really nice to have so much support from all over!

A big thanks to everyone who helped with preparing the course in one way or another. Putting together a temp course like this really requires a lot of work. I really wish everyone could have enjoyed the course to its full potential. Thanks to Shan Mann and Smitty for bringing the extra baskets needed for the course!

I really wish we could have had good weather and the anticipated 100+ players that I had planned for the event. Payout would have been huge in all divisions!

Added Cash:
Pro Men: $250
Am Divisions: $400 spread through the divisions one way or another. Thanks to all the fund raiser discs purchased. For such a small field, player pack, and PDGA & KDGA fees in consideration, I think the payout was pretty respectable.

Congrats too EMac and all the division winners and top place finishers! I heard something about Gabe increasing his caddy fees

Any suggestions or tips on how to run a better event would be greatly appreciated...Besides controlling the weather. Let us know what you thought about everything; most memorable moments and favorite holes. Thanks again to all who came out!
