the following is from Paul W..
Dear Friend of the Wright Way Foundation,
This year members of the Austin community are supporting the Wright Way Foundation through a Disc Golf Tournament and Silent Auction at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock, Texas. The Wright Way Foundation provides funding for medical expenses to the family of Ricky Wright and was established to support this Austin family at a time of crisis in their life.
The Disc Golf Tournament and Silent Auction will take place on May 5, 2007 and all proceeds will go to the Wright Way Foundation. We would like to invite you to participate as well, if you so desire.
We would appreciate if you would sponsor the Wright Way Foundation with a monetary donation or an item to be put up for bid during our Silent Auction. Anything you are able to donate will help. Our silent action will be held on May 5, 2007. If you would like me to pick the item up, please let me know.
Obviously, there is no requirement to take part, but if youd like to join us in this worthwhile cause, you may send a tax-deductible donation of cash or auction item to:
Attn: Paul Weitkemper
Wright Way Foundation
300 Honeysuckle Lane
Pflugerville, TX 78660
Checks should be made payable to Wright Way Foundation. When reporting your tax-deductible contribution to the Wright Way Foundation, please use tax ID #20-8828637.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and support.
Sincerely,
Paul Weitkemper

Awesome bigarm, that's what is needed. Even if you can't make the tourney Sat. please bring donations for us to raffel/silent auction. Silent auction stuff goes to JohnE, raffel goes to C-dub/Coffey's. Non disc golf things are good for the silent auction, since we will close all bids at Hanovers. Some good 'ol country boys at the bar can bid on those items. Keep drumming them up.

is HQ at hole # 1
If that isn't decided yet, It is probably better to start at hole 13. much more parking and not as far to starting holes. Also the TBA lunch will have a pit and pavillion in case it is needed.
seewhere
May 04 2007, 08:48 AM
ok we will meet at hole # 1. for parking we have a huge parking lot across the street at the baseball fields and for starting holes peopleare going to have to drive no matter what. as for lunch no one has volunteered
The only problem there is if there is baseball going on...sometimes they have a person charging for parking.
seewhere
May 04 2007, 11:00 AM
ok both pavillions are rented does not appear there will be any baseball games there will be a MADD fun walk starting at 8:00 and going to 11:30. if they are parked on fairway # 6 we will move this tee box and I will let everyone know.
Sounds good. I bet those cars will tear up the fairway since it will still be a little muddy. I hope they don't mess it up too much.
seewhere
May 04 2007, 01:18 PM
me too. either way this event is going to be about having FUN
This should be interesting with MADD walking around! I guess I'll be bringing some little brown sacks to hide my barley pops from the MADD ladies. Have we decided what hole to meet at yet.?? Looks like we are going to have some rookie's out tomorrow so if you have some extra disc's you just have laying around, please bring them for these people who are coming just to show support for the WWF. Also bring a chair cause I'm sure we are going to have some wait time on the tee boxes, and thats a good thing cause the more people the more money we are going to raise. And above all else, and if you can only remember one thing, remember that this event is for having FUN and raising $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ !!!!!!
mikeharrell
May 04 2007, 03:55 PM
so what are they MADD about? /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif this being for fun it would be fun, if everyone let me win. :o:D:D
This is a shout out to the MAN himself, Mr. Ricky Wright!! You better get off that recliner and have your butt out at the corse tomorrow. It would be great to see ya as I know all the people out there would enjoy it as well. And I need you to sign a spotter for me so I can wall hang it in my awards room.
I'll put it next to my national championship awards as well as my rookie of the year player of the year awards. Really, please try and make it out Ric, you need to get out of the house and walk so no better place to be than your own tourney!! See ya tomorrow brother. If you need a ride call me, but remember, I will be going out around 7:00am to help Ware set up so that would mean getting you around 6:30am or so.
johne
May 04 2007, 05:36 PM
FYI....I will have some blank bid sheets for the silent auction......so if you brought an item or items and you need a bid sheet, see me. I'll be at the tourney and at Hanover's.
Question....does Hanover's serve any kind of food?
You know those MADD people will be bumming some budweiser off of you. Hide it. Also played the winter course this afternoon and the fairways are still real muddy. Hope they reconsider letting them park on a fairway.
Looked at the forecast for tomorrow. Two different sites show winds from the south from 20-23....and thats for Pflugerville, not the Rock. We're probably looking at winds 25-30 minimum by noon. Typical day at the Rock! Hope I draw a big arm that can drive farther than 200 ft. into a 30mph wind.
Just saw a news report about illegal gambling and Hanovers was mentioned(news crew was out front). Players and some florist shop was talked about. Said some had been shut down and others just had citations issued. Hope it is still open tomorrow. Saw it on channel 2 (fox7news) at 9:10pm. Some kind of gambling machine was featured. I'll try to find out more.

How was Hanovers"? Do I own Dale Yet??
O.B.O. (or best offer). I have ink and I have paper. I also want that hat!!! (J.D. the hat!!!) I'll bid 37.50 on it. 150.00 on the Dale jacket!
HMFBD Keith!!!
Hanovers was a blast, and that is all I can remember. And Eddie out bid me on everything I wanted. And I did not win any raffles, and it was great to see Ricky.
