The Ardmore Disc Golf Association is proud to announce that we are having the Ardmore Summerfest June 9, 2007 in Ardmore. It is a 1 day, 54 hole PDGA Sanctioned C-Tier event that will be held at Broadlawn Park.
Entry fees:
$50/all pro divisions
$40/all advanced divisions
$30/amateur divisions
$20/recreational divisions
$15/junior divisions
There will be added cash to the pro/open payout. The ace pot and $2 PDGA player fee is included in the entry fee listed above. Non-PDGA members add $5 to entry fee. The first 35 to register for the tournament will receive a tournament T-shirt.
The tournament schedule is as follows:
7:30-9:00am - Registration
9:30am - Mandatory Players' Meeting
10:00am - Start 1st round
1:00 - Start 2nd round
4:00 - Start 3rd round
TBA - Awards following shortly after final round
Directions to Broadlawn Park: From I-35 take exit #33. Go east on HWY 142. Turn right at the 3rd stoplight (past high school). Continue south on Mt. Washington Rd. for 1/2 mile. Course is on the right.

What happened to the course that was at the park with the softball diamonds by the interstate?

I will play with Jennifer Allen any day of the week. By far one of the most fun disc golfers I have ever met .. She has a great putting stroke too!

It is up on titledisc.com . I spoke with Drew yesterday, he was not thinking that it will fill.... Capacity is 90 , with a possible push to 100 ..... I am signing up on Saturday...

Just got off the phone with DJ and we may head up to OKC Friday night for Poker and Surf and Turf and then head back south for the tourney on Saturday.

It looks like it will definitely be a good turnout ---- I've had a lot of response from people -- DFW metroplex, OKC metro, Tulsa, Wichita Falls, Duncan, etc. etc. Again, first 35 to register receive tournament shirt (regardless of division for you pros). I'm really interested to see if we fill or not......I think its definitely a possibility......Ardmore is definitely centrally located....

hey thanks very much for the generous offer -- our club does have some extra baskets if needed......I know DJ is running the ring of fire between the final round and the awards..we will use one of our extras for that....if any you guys' disc golf clubs would like to kick in anything for that, either let Daryl or myself know.....got a few people kicking in a few things...

For a one day event, 3 rounds is the way to go! That's what would make it more attractive to types like me that can take off one day much easier than two!

I know what you mean.
Thats why I am not going to Waco, but I don't see having 2 hour rounds. We have some shorty courses here and the minis take way longer than that.
How many open players are we gona have?
