Hey everyone,

I have been playing disc golf for about 6 years and am just now going to TD a tournament. It is set for June 30, so I am going to be getting sponsorship in a little bit. I could not find a thread on ideas for generating good sponsorship, so I thought I would ask for help. This is a PDGA C-Tier tournament in a community of about 75,000 people.

Does anyone have any cool documents showing sponsorship tiers or have general ideas of how they get sponsorship.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Wolfdog

Unless your club is non profit you need to associate sposorship with advertising. We generally do pretty well with just this. We feature 3 tiers of support.

Bronze - $30 will get you one sign featuring your buisness on a tee box for one day.

Silver - $50 will get a sign for one hole on both days.

Gold - $100 will get a sign both days and logo on the tournament tee shirt.

We added a Title Sponsor this last tournament that companys can bid on. Bids started at $500. Highest bidders company will have all the above perks and the tournament will be called the Disc golf classic presented by "Pepsi" or whoever.

Hope this helps. The guy that holds those documents for the club is at a tournament this weekend. When he gets back I will email you the form we give to buisnesses. It is very professional and you are more than welcome to use and edit it anyway you like for your situation.
