River Oaks golf course in calumet city will have its grand opening April 22 sunday at noon.The course will be a premier fly 18 not to miss.With water on 14 of 18 holes, it winds through the little calumut river with 58 bunkers along the way.This course has lots of elevation and huge trees.This course will come in over 13,000 ft pro layout dual tees on every hole. This will be my 17th on golf courses 3 more this year.Many thanks To Brian Cummings who suggested this course only miles from his house.This course is near the freeway and close to mokena and lemon lakes disc golf courses.This is my 3rd course with Billy Casper golf mgt.Thanks to all that have made Edgebrook in Chicago a success.Pricing will be the same as edgebrook.This course has carts and restaraunt with BEER....... yo RS..... can we get "real" numbers on this ?...for once, I am not just messin' with ya ;)

Well, if you read his post, this is his 17th course.

I know that houston, and Ft. Worth were both pulled. Houston because of ownership change, Ft Worth because of land Sale with the golf course being removed.

Reese is suppose to be putting another course in the DFW area soon from what I hear. But as you know, nothing if final till the baskets are in the ground. I will be there the day it opens either way.

I have done 16 perm and 15 temp golf courses from 1999.8 are standing today.8 have been relocated 4 have been bought out from the rise in the housing market.2 have been change of management or ownership.the other 2 did not do well on rounds.I learn from each one. We are playing golf and our sport is growing.This is very positive for all.

I'll be there! We just played the one in Trafalgar, indiana called Indian Springs on the way back from Bowling Green am Championships. One of the most beautiful courses I have played. The owner was a very nice old man and had lots of jokes right out the box. I cant wait to see the one by river oaks. Par 72 thats what I'm talking bout!! yamean.

Heh, I got a Firebird in the little lake you throw over on one of the later holes there in Trafalgar. The course is quite nice. Driving a golf cart up next to your disc was a welcomed change of pace! Great course, I highly recommend everyone play it!

Even though chicago got snow yesterday, the weather looks great for the week that I get in, and for opening day sunday 22.For the pros playing on sat in kenosha I will offer a free round with cart to the open winner.And the am advanced.I will be giving away free cart tickets and free rounds at the event in a free raffel.Come on out and enjoy spring in a cart with a frosty one ;)This will be one of the best fly designs yet!!!!dont sleep :D

The giant has awoke.River oaks golf course will come in at 13,014 ft pro layout.Our grand opening will be at 12:00 on sunday this will be a pre grand some of my equiptment did not make it here on time and will not officaly open till next thursday the 26th.This course is special the staff is awsome .I cant wait to throw a disc here.This is true fly style..All holes have dual tees.Dont miss this one!!!! ;)

Excellent course! Definitely the most challenging course in the area!
