James Pellman, Jimbob and I will be hosting a mini <font color="red"> FAREWELL TOURNAMENT OF ROLLERS </font> in honor of our LODGA leader, mentor and close friend Brian Schmidt:

Saturday April 7, 2007 at Liiivvvee Oaakk!!
Sign up: starting at 8:00 a.m.
Start time: 9:30 a.m.
One round on the back 18 (2nd round random draw doubles optional)
Entry: $7.00
Entry includes: ($1.00 for ctp, $1.00 for costs)
One Division only
Pay out will be the usual top 3 or depending on turn out
LODGA bag tags in effect
Meeting Place: Behind Pool House by LOSO HQ
Lunch and a Keg of Beer will be provided after 1st round

Weather permitting we will play as planned...
If not please still attend to say good bye to Brian and have some pizza and beer at Laura and Jimbob's house at 12:00 noon....

What this mean is we are gonna have some fun with this, in dedication to one of the best rollers in disc golf Brian Schmidt....

You <font color="blue">MUST </font> roll every drive on every hole!!! (Only your drive) :D:D

Alright pickles here is the deal, by 3 pm today, I will have the holes picked out to play. I know the format is funky, but I think it will be fun (come on, who hasn't learn to at least roll better watching B?). And to answer the first question that should pop up "Ace Pot?" come on riders of the short bus, it will all go in a ctp (hum, roller ctp???). I hope you all come out for this one.

Ok, here we go. I will be at the picnic tables by 8am Sat morning (the area between the poolhous and LOSO HQ). We will play one round of 18 then lunch like Laura said. We will play the City Hall course much the same as in other tournaments. Tee of 9:22 am.

The short hole are only to keep track on blind holes. I am sure that someone would do it better so don't bother telling me so :o. Hope to see lots of you out there. I will be taking bids to see who gets to be on the card with the Godfather of LODGA.

Like rain is going to bother the Southpaw after Houston this last weekend! :D

we are moving the tee time to 10:02 am. I will be there at 8:30.

that is why i dont want to play in the rain , not so fun still having rollers only. dont know if i can make it at 10 tee off , need to be elsewhere by 1 :cool:

i don't mind if he changes the roller rule... but everyone has to putt upside down :D

YO B, if I dont make this one you and your family have a safe drive up there . Thanks for all good times and memories at all the tournaments that we have gone together. You will be missed by all. WE played so many rounds together which was always a blast , maybe one of these tourney's you can be my caddie for once :D

What a great time this morning! Thanks to everyone who came out and braved cold and wet weather. A big thanks to James and Laura for running the show and feeding the weary golfers afterwards. Thanks to everyone for the beautiful plaque, signed disc and to Carlos for the bird cage. He said now I can take my birdies with me to Dallas :D

RT wins with +3, Coda the great +4, and yours truly with a +5, after 4'ing the last hole from 20 feet out for the birdie, doh!

Thanks Yeti and Geoff, I'll see you round the disc somewhere! Geoff, the disc you gave me with graphics did not have the BBQ graphic. That is the one Keith wants to use for the custom stamped discs from Innova. Can you e-mail it to me and I'll forward it to Mike Huey. Keith does not have a cumpooter ;)

p.s. Keith has your Gold anniversary Aviar for helping out with this!
