I'm interested in signing up for Maceman's Crawford Park Tournament on April 14th, but the only thing that you can sign up for on his usual sign up page is for the match play at Cedar Hill that was held on March 3rd. Does anyone know where if there is a new place to sign up, or if the tournament has been canceled for some reason?

I found a web site that shows that the tournament is still on the 14th, but is not sanctioned.
www.lsdga.com/sched/index.php (http://www.lsdga.com/sched/index.php)
It is the second entry from the top. There are also many other tournaments listed.

The question still remains.......Where to sign up?

Did you try maceman.com???
FYI : The last I spoke with Brian, he was contemplating moving this event to the new course in Rockwall....
Gary Duke : Is the Crawford course going to be ready by the 14th ?

From what I have been told, it is ready now.
The parks dept is working to get things prettied up before the event. They will be dumping mulch around the course to help with places that may hold water in case it rains.
They are working on repairing the damaged baskets, and all of the sleeves have been installed.

That's the one and only place I know to sign up for a Maceman tournament, it only shows sign up for match play at Cedar Hill from March 3rd.

There is absolutely no truth to the Crawford change to Rockwall. I am giving very serious consideration to running an event in Rockwall, but that will not take the place of Crawford.
You can sign up now on MaceMan.com (http://www.maceman.com/cgi-bin/agora.cgi?product=Registration).

Played Crawford yesterday -- found the new #13, but there were 3 others that either I couldn't find or just aren't in the ground right now. Does anyone know if the "original" 13-16 have been removed and redesigned or if they're just not in the ground?

I'm well aware of that website... Mr. Duke does a great job keeping all of that stuff updated. Mr. Mace will also sometimes make a sanctioning decision at the last minute. I've learned to never rely on any outside info (or even inside info in some cases ;)) about MaceMan events until I hear it from the man himself.
The question remains: Will this event be sanctioned?

Hole 13 continues down on the left side of the jogging trail after 12.
Cross the jogging trail for 14 playing back toward the hill.
Hole 15 plays down the hill to near the pond.
Hole 16 still plays across the pond.
Last I heard, all of the baskets were in the ground except 15.
That basket could not be repaired and a temp basket will be used for the tournament.

i didnt know they had changed some of the holes...the old number 13 ( i think that was it) i liked alot...you would cross the path to the right and then the hole was long through the woods and somewhat downhill...that isnt a hole anymore? what was the reason for the redesign?
if it ends up not being sanctioned will the entry fee go down?

At the Crowley tournament Mace waited till the last minute (he said he was trying to get it sanctioned) but the price was the same but he did not pay out as far in each field.

Holes 13 and 14 were moved away from the "ravine" for now.
There will be holes where 13 and 14 were in the future.
I don't know the status of sanctioning.
The status of the sanctioning ???
Just got hold of Brian, the sanctioning for this event is looking good... Not etched in stone, but he is confident.
The discboomer is coming to Crawford......
Just got the word from Brian... Crawford has been sanctioned , c-tier........ Going to be a great day on a great course..... Looking forward to playing the full 18.
Brian and I will be there @ the arse crack of dawn on Saturday if anybody feels like lending a hand!

15 is not in the ground, and will be a temp basket from near the high side of the bridge to the pond by the tree (well left of 16's tees).
I think Brian had the Rec and Int play white/red, and the Pro and Adv play blue/white last year, but I'm getting old and my memory isn't so good anymore.
