I'm not sure about where the baskets are going....but I know 18 need to go to Enid....Crosslin Park could be so nice with some new baskets and a little local support.

As far as I know exisiting course are not leigible for the true growth program. The program ws designed to put courses in towns or locations where there was no course before. It was never intended to update existing courses.

If you have more questions, address them towards Jose mendoza or Joe Rotan. ;)

The 2007 Twisted Flyer Open....course under construction :D

Who knows what else in the future.

(Not pictured) #18 which is one of the SWEEEETEST holes I have ever laid out. Kind of reminds me of #18 August National (The Masters) From the Blue Tee its about 320 across the lake (220 ft to clear water) slight left to right out of a very manageable tunnel. The coolest thing about the hole is the green....right in front of the hole is a 50 ft wide 10-12 ft deep BUNKER where if you come up short, you will be in. If you are in the bunker you will only be 30-40ft away from the pin but you may not be able to see it. The bunker is about 10-12ft deep :D

The pics listed are the island green #17 from about where the blue tee is. It's only about 210 feet from the blue tee and your at least 40ft above the target. The other pics are a couple of fairways where you will get to unleash from elevated tees...More to come later ;)

cool will this course be played at the Oklahoma Open?

# 17 island shot is sccchhhhwwweeeeeettttttttttt........

Have you ever contemplated using a retrieval device ? I was thinking about a large net that will sit below the water , upon splash down, you could get to the island, grab a rope, pull up the net and retrieve the disc . Logistically, it could not be that hard to devise. It could also be fairly cheap. I would imagine a fishing product would work best ..

Just curious,, keep up the good work!

True that.

Plus, maybe if they could remove some of the sand burs hiding under the "grass".

I am planning on having a few Golden Retrievers (http://cgi.ebay.com/Disc-Golf-Retriever-Unlimited-Reach-UltraCompact_W0QQitemZ180113037768QQihZ008QQcatego ryZ20851QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) with a string around the pole of the basket so that there will always be a retriever on the Island.

Also since the lake is man made, I had him make it very shallow around the island, so if your only 20-30 feet from the island it's only about 2-3ft deep so discs should be able to be seen and discs should be able to be retrieved easily. The water looks dirty in the pic but it was after rains....the water is normally clear.

We are also planning a rock retaining wall on the back sides of the island, so that if you get on you will usually stay on. ;)

It's tough to see the basket in these pics, but it's there. It show's up well in the pic from the white tee. The Bunker doesn't show up very well either, especially how deep it is. When your in the middle of it, it's about 8-10ft deep.

We'll be getting the rocks out of there and adding either sand or mulch in the BUNKER. The grass is actually starting to grow in front of the bunker so hopefully in a few weeks these pics will look much better. :D

Kevin, I am getting excited about this course. When will it be ready for play. Looks like a good quick vacation course for me. Any camping nearby?

He is building this place as a resort. He is planning at least a half dozen cabins, a restaurant, he already has a driving range, and is also planning an executive 9 golf course.

All events at The LoDgE will offer camping.

Baskets may be in the ground as early as late June...Jim is trying to accelerate the grass seed so that it's not so muddy. There is some grass starting to show in some of the areas.
