Dont be an idiot. Pre Register for one of the sickest events you will attend this year, maybe any year. Dont think about it, JUST GET IT DONE ASAP.
This event will be held on three courses:
Middle Park - Bettendorf, Iowa
Eastern Avenue Park - Davenport, Iowa
West Lake Park - Davenport, Iowa
Yes. That West Lake. The course everyone was talking about last year and was #$*&$! they didnt come play.
There will be three pools limited to 72 players each. Pros, Advanced, and "other". This set-up allows 4-somes on the 18-hole courses and 3-somes on the 24-hole course.
As this is a PDGA Super Tour event, you will be REQUIRED to be a current PDGA member to participate in this event. No exceptions are allowed. So if your membership has lapsed, get it in again.
Pre-registration will be required.
Scared to play but want to help out ?

Thanks to the River City Reader for making this event possible a second time!
Iron Lion DGS is proud to help sponsor this event and thanks Chad Eng for bringing the first A-TIER to the Quad City area.
< Pros play 2 Rounds at West Lake, one at Middle Park in the all long placement. Good luck breaking par, ANYONE.
< Marshall Street DGC Qualifier!
Good luck breaking par, ANYONE.
the challenge is out there, and I second it. This will be a gruelling weekend with some of the best golf in the Midwest.
< Marshall Street DGC Qualifier!
This ought to attract some people----way to go Chad making this become a reality!
I can't wait for this A-Tier. I had the opportunity to play last year, when this was a B-Tier at Westlake Park only. If memory serves me correctly, 77 was the hot round and was rated at 1035 or so. This is going to be known as the "USDGC-type" golf tournament of the midwest. Lots of thought-out, well placed shots are critical to scoring well here.
If you're not pre-registered by tomorrow (May 5th), I believe there is a $20 late registration fee. Register online today for the most challenging A tier in the Midwest.
This event is a Marshall Street qualifier. Come one, come all. Plenty of spots in the open division available.
spots still available for the pro division especially. Come try and keep Jay and Des from closing out an A Tier in their hometown!
The "temp" course at Westlake is one step closer to not being temporary anymore. Thanks to Jay Reading and Innova for getting 24 discatchers shipped, and a great crew in the QC that installed the brand new baskets for this awesome course in time for the tournament.
Qualify for Marshall Street and USDGC as well. This event is not to be missed! Bring your wife if Mother's Day is an issue. It's a beautiful park and town, weather is going to be fantastic, you'll be sorry if you miss this event. People will be talking about it come Monday, mark my words. This is going to put the QC on the map, if winning 2009's women's nat's bid didn't already. :D

I'm in. No way I'm missing this event. Two of the best courses in Iowa, which says enough. Westlake makes USDGC look easy.

Is West Lake the best course in Iowa, possibly in the Midwest?
>>>Yes. Prove me wrong, show up and tear it up if your so good! 10 discs and an ***** kicking later, you will agree!
This course has been kicking the bejesus out of me for the last 2 days. Its sickening.

What courses will the AMs be playing??
What courses will the AMs be playing??
check the tournament website on Chase's first post for course descriptions and pictures, pool assignments, etc.
I believe advanced is playing Eastern Ave, Westlake on Saturday, and Middle Park on Sunday.
I think that int. plays Eastern 2X and Middle once, not sure on the order though.
Finals are at Westlake Sunday afternoon.
I think I forgot to mention that one of the sponsors, Bent River Brewing Company, is providing free admission to disc golfers to their establishment and discounted food on Saturday night. The admission being waved is a cover for the live band that will be playing. BTW, it's walking distance from the host hotel. Come on down and try the QC's best microbrews. I highly recommend the Uncommon Stout, very coffee-like in aroma and aftertaste. It goes down super smooth for a high alcohol content beer. I'm not sure what the % is exactly, but it's high. Bring your growlers if you got 'em for enojoying the finals on Sunday afternoon.
If you haven't left for the QC yet, get yo ***** in the car and start driving. Spots still available, register at Westlake park today till 9:30-10PM. You'll be sorry if you don't. Weather is going to be spectacular this weekend.

We shall see :D
Way to go KID,
Your friend, Ron :p
Hopefully Kid is OK and can continue his streak, I thought I heard that he "popped" his ankle in the finals. Nice win though, the 74 at Westlake Saturday is ridiculous.
Ron, most Iowans will be at Legion of Doom, best C tier in the WORLD. See you in Des Moines.

That course looks very tough and fun, with some serious water hazzards. Check out the final 9 covergae on www.discgolftv.com. (http://www.discgolftv.com.) It is so nice to sit at work and watch some kick A** DG in the morning.
