anyone have the results yet? I know JD won Pro but one of our MA1 guys had the one of the best 3rd rounds out there...want to see those ratings
JD, Leonel and Ben all placed, won the glow doubles, won the putting contest and won furthest travel to the tourney
Sounded like one great event...way to go OMB VS YGB guys

oohhh...bad comparison....
I have not been able to get with my San Angelo contacts to check on this. They have been doing things the manual way since the beginning....and posting scores on the Tour page on on the message board is probably not a high priority. Im e-mailing myself right now to remember this when I get home.

at this point maybe...but I hope to maybe see what other golfers think about results and posted results
Should the PDGA at least make you have your results in within one month???
and this is not an attack on this event....I heard nothing but great things about timing, payout, and the disc golf family..
but should we not expect ratings within one month at least?
there may be circumstances I have no clue about, but I pose this question as a basis for all events

The Tour standards document says that results, layouts and memberships are due within 2 weeks (for C-Tiers), and final reporting and payments are due within 30 days. So, by this standard, the results are late. And, on-line reporting is only strongly recommended...not required (though, it would be nice to have unofficial ratings right after events end).
As far as ratings, I believe that keeping the un-official ratings up even after the results are processed is on the to-do list for the PDGA staff. As it is now, the tourney staff has to post results on-line before the TD report is sent in to give people a glimpse of the ratings.
I didn't think that you were attacking the event, though its good to see you say as much anyway. I was happy to see players outside of our area come and check out west texas disc golf. Overall, you wont find the most challenging course out here, but we all do try to put on the best events we can :)

I was there this year and I thought overall it was a good tourney. I did think we waited a little bit too long to start the second round. After that long lunch break than the long drive, by the time we started the second round I didn't even feel like throwing anymore. And I also think we got started a little late on Sunday, for the out of towners that came in such as myself. I didn't even get to stick around to see the final results or throw for the CTP for the ace money. I had to be at work Sunday night. I'm not tryin to bash anyone, like I said, overall I think it was a good tournament, and I will be back next year.

Thanks for the response..I haven't ever checked/noticed the "1 month rule"..
I am sure they will come in, but we have a few MA2 dying to find out if they are committed to MA1 now :D
again, I heard nothing but praise...I hope I can make some time for it next year
