Hoping someone can settle a debate -- someone claimed to me that no top pros use a roc or other mid-range disc for putting. It didn't sound right to me but I don't tour so I couldn't really say. Any insights appreciated!

Barry Schultz putt's with a Bulldog when it's windy.

Johnny Sias putts with Rocs. and he also uses the Birdie for long distance putts.

I was about to say Johnny Sias, then I saw someone posted it.

There is actually an article he wrote in DGWN within the last two years about his putting and at one point he explained why he used a roc.

I know several old school pros including myself putt with Classic Rocs. It fits my hand well and its lower profile gets out of my hand easier. Not sure if any new school top players use them though.

Barry putts with a Shark on occasion. I wouldn't have believed it, but he used it during most of our round in Fort Worth.

my good friend has been putting with sharks for about 10 years now. If it gets real windy I use my special blend roc.

From what I remember, mostly tailwind putts and some longer putts. I wouldn't have guessed it myself. :eek:

The Lissaman's use a Roc for longer putts. :D

It seems like you're getting one of two responses. Either flat out "no" or "yes.. i saw so and so using this mid once or twice". If putting with a mid is enough to make you famous for it, don't you think that answers your question? ;)
