If a tournament is a PDGA-sanctioned event, will it always be on the PDGA tour schedule? Is there any way to verify that a tournament that is claiming to be sanctioned is so indeed? This would be especially important if the event is not listed on the tour schedule.

I realize that sometimes things happen last minute, but shouldn't the event at least be listed on the tour schedule?

Thanks for the feedback.

The Tour page calendar lists events that are planned to be sanctioned with an *asterisk by the tier letter. There are several listed like that currently with some happening today even. If you don't see the event on the Tour list and it's less than 30 days away, the event will likely not be sanctioned because 30 days is the minimum lead time for a C-tier to be sanctioned.

I believe the current policy is you only get listed on the tour schedule after you submit your sanctioning agreement.
