We are gearing up for another great time at the lake. :cool:Jose` Mendoza runs a great tournament just ask anyone who has played in one of his. If you like your disc golf a little on the rugged side as opposed to the typical manicured park course then this is your tournament. By rugged I mean the two 18 hole courses wind their way up and down rugged hills and through cedar and oak trees and on several holes the lake comes into play to swallow your discs if not careful. Most people camp out in either tents or rv's but Duncan does have several motels if you would rather have the conveniences of home. Remember to bring firewood for campfires and bug spray in case the ticks and chiggers are out early. Hope to see alot of new faces this year along with all of the Hillclimber veterans.http://www.kycom.com/discgolf/dlho2007.htm

Probably not, but if you aren't going all the way down there then come on up to Duncan for a great time.

Just 14 more days! Two 18-hole courses side beside with the campground in between the two. There will be food available for small fee on campsite all weekend for before, between and after rounds or anytime you get hungry except for late night snacks.( you will have to provide those) There will also be musical entertainment for the evenings by Joe Tertifiller and anyone else that wants to join in. The campsite also has mens and womens bathrooms with hot showers. Remember to bring firewood if you want campfires. Lets see if we can beat the 2005 Hillclimbers attendance record of 160 players! :D

Johnny, It was great to see you again. Hope you enjoyed the concert at KYC.
The course looked great and I think I speak for many in saying there would not be a super course in Duncan without you. I appreciate all you do. It's a shame I don't get up there and play it more.
Looking forward to this weekend.

There's a chance I left an E-spirit there (possibly on 15, can't recall where I used it).

Thanks Andy! It was good to see ya' again. We had a great time at the ZZTop concert but I still haven't caught up on my sleep since I had to start day shifts the morning after. We got home at about 12:45 am and I had to get up at 5 am. I will keep the disc for you if I come across it. See ya' this weekend.

36 hours and counting...several inches of rain today and very soggy, but Saturday and Sunday look perrrrrrrfffffffect!!!!!!!!!

Golf in Duncan America, no place better...the Lake in the Spring and Twin Oaks in the Fall. It's our own little slice of paradise :D:D:D

Thank you Jose for running a great tournament. Despite the rain, which made one of the courses unplayable, you still managed to run one of the best organized tournaments I've seen. Also, thank you Johnny Z for making sure that the course was mowed and ready to go. You both contributed to a great tournament, and I'm definitely looking forward to next year!

Thanks Heidi! I really feel bad that the other course wasn't able to be played because of nearly 6 inches of rain in one day but I think Jose` did a wonderful job letting 120 players get in at least 3 rounds of golf on one course. We would hate to ever turn anyone away. So far it has never happened at a Hillclimber. :) Thanks for coming and I hope to see you next year.
