I have a Z-Pred from 2002 (Hideaway Pizza Oklahoma Open Stamp) and a regular run from 2006.

I noticed that the rim is a little different and the the newer run and one of them (I can't remember which) is a lot more over stable. Anyone know any thing about this?

Thanks.

I'm guessing (wildly, as usual) the the composition of the plastic has changed, affecting the way it sets up during cooling after being taken out of the mold. In those years, the procedure of how the disc is handled could also have changed. In addition, the old mold may have been damaged or replaced due to a production hardware upgrade, and not recreated perfectly. I've noticed this as well in that the ESP preds feel way different than an OOOLD Z pred I had.

On the D-Craft site one of the team members was talking about this in his favorite discs. The mold was changed because they didn't feel it was overstable enough. The DGA Tsunami was made to recreate the original preds.
