More $ and sponsorship coming in every day. Team BGO is working hard to make this good for you. Gold Star, Rt. 18 in Burlington is offering 10% off that weekend to all disc golfers who mention the tournament and they are giving us gift certs. They are located near Idlewild, so on Saturday it would be good for both Ams and Pros to stop there as they switch courses. For you out-of-towners it will be a good chance for you to check out our Cincinnati-style chili!

Since both Ams and Pros will be at one course all day on Sunday, lunch will once again be brought to you by Girl Scout Troop 755 at both Banklick and Idlewild. Great lunch and you don't have to go anywhere. Price is around $5 - can't remember exactly, but it's a good deal. It's a win-win situation - we support them and we get a good meal without having to go anywhere.

I have forgotten to mention that the DND Bluegrass Open is an Am Nationals Qualifier - the top 20% of Advanced players will qualify for the Amateur Nationals Championship June 15-17, 2007. You can get more information here: Am Nationals (http://www.amnationals.com/) So, if you didn't qualify at Bowling Green as 69 people did, come on back to Kentucky and get qualified! See you there.

All women Pro and Am entering the tournament will get a disc of their choice(with minor restrictions) from Disc 'n Dat. All women, both Pro and Am will get a "special package" other than the Am package that the Am Women will also receive. We are doing our best to do some things to draw more women to our tournament. We have ten signed up thusfar. Can we get 25?

Ok, good news!! Pro purse will have over $3600 added. $3000 added to all the Pros and an additional $500 to Senior Grandmasters and an additional $100 to Grandmasters. The $600 to Seniors and Grands was specifically directed to those divisions by the sponsor. Thanks to Peter Shive and the Senior Grandmasters.

If that's not enough to get you to get signed up, I don't know what is. Cashing Pros are definitely going to go home happy as well as the Ams - they always go home happy with alot of booty!

IdleWILD is looking absolutely stunning down some of those fairways. Hole #16' triple island action alone is worth the trip to see this course. Come see why this course is in many top pros TOP 5 courses!
Geoff Bennett after his first course round yesterday, "Top three, for sure!"

What will Pros be playing at Banklick? Tees and pins?

Banklick 24 - long tees. Upper 10 both rounds, lower tee on hole 19. Yes, IdleWILD is looking good. Thanks Fred, Bob, Darrell Motley (from Lexington) and all the others.

Man I wish I could play this one, but I am TDing in Ann Arbor. Coming back from BG this year, we only had daylight to play the front 9 and hole 18. It was amazing. I wanted to finish very much, I shot 29 on the front.

Good luck to Geoff. His sidearm and jump putts should get him some $$$ down there.

Thanks to everyone that helped with this event -- I am sorry I had to run out to catch a plane back to reality right after the last round but glad that I got to play.

I know I can 4 #6 at Idlewild . . . . I just haven't done it yet.

At the 2006 Masters at Idlewild (http://pdga.com/tournament/tournament_results.php?TournID=5617), I played that hole well during all three rounds: 5....4....4 :)

Never less, or more than, an FN 6 on 6. But I love the hole. :)
