Is there a map for the Knob Hill course? I was only there one time and I couldn't find the first tee. I'll be there on Friday and I don't want to waste time trying to figure out the layout.
Thanks, John ;)

John,
There is no online map that I am aware of but the course is extremely easy to follow once you get off to the right start. The important thing is to enter the park at the correct entrance - I made this mistake 10 years ago when I first played the course. Make sure you enter the 2nd entrance road to the park - do not park near the baseball fields and climb the hill, or you'll find yourself at the 8th hole. Pass the baseball fields, turn left into the park, then make another left past the playground equipment. Proceed about 600-700 feet (pass pavilion up hill on right) and you'll reach a parking lot with a bathroom. Walk past the bathroom up the road and you can't miss the first tee and first hole straight ahead of you.

The disc golf parking lot is closed for the season (they close the road due to sledders on that big hill). Jeff is correct about the second park entrance, however....just park near the playground and start on hole 18 rather than walk to hole 1.
Not sure how long you'll be in town, but we have a monthly this weekend (Saturday, March 3) at Moraine State Park. The Lakeview course at Moraine is only about 45 minutes north of Knob Hill. See our web site below for details.

Thanks, guys. I appreciate the help. I can't make it to Moraine on Saturday, though. I have to have dinner with mom in the South Hills that night. I'm actually from Pittsburgh originally (Mt. Lebanon class of '93). Are there any other Blue Devils in the PFDS?

Depending on your schedule, you might be able to make the singles round at Moraine on Saturday morning. We start at 10:00 am and usually finish around 1:00 pm. The afternoon doubles is a separate event which begins at 2:00 pm (lately, due to winter weather, we have not had any interest in doubles). Web site has details....
Thanks! :D
