big props the PDGA for this.
Along with the better material, it's credit card size and easily fits in wallets, which I know has been a problem for me in the past.

Haven't received mine yet. I got a 20 year tag last year, which was a nice surprise. But the strap broke and I need a new one. How 'bout a replacement? :D

I like the new credit card size. Fits better in my wallet with my other cards.
It also looks like it won't Deteriorate like the old cards did when they got wet !!!!!

How could you not like them compared to the old ones? Previous years was a laminated piece of paper. This is actually a card. Same thing goes for the new official's card if anyone has taken the test recently. I guess the PDGA splurged for a new machine for 2007...

A special officials bag tag would have been a good thing to help identify playing officials.

I thought the entire renewal package this year was a step up, and wrote to the staff to let them know that I thought so.
The language in some of the explanatory materials was clearer and better written, the new membership card is classy and fits easily into your wallet, my wife and I got our Ace Club stuff very quickly, and she was most impressed by the fact that the shirt that she got was in fact a woman's shirt, not a medium men's!

Definitely agree with this, plus an actual plastic card looks a little more "professional" (PDGA) than a laminated piece of paper or cardstock. I like the new ones a lot...

In the past they have been included on the membership card.
Instead of professional, they should say Touring Professional.

Have you tried calling Lorrie Gibson at PDGA HQ? She is the membership head honcho. Or is it more fun to keep demanding an answer here? :)

I just did call and they said it was sent almost a month ago so I guess it just got lost. BTW considering there are quite a few "Touring Pros" on here i figured that they could answer the question. Also its hard to call the office when you have school and they close at like 5 your time.
