The 2nd Annual Woodman Spring Fling
Saturday April 14 at Disc Creek DGC in Thompson Park.
2 rounds. Lunch and water provided.
Players pack to the first 60 entrants

Pro - $30
Am Men - $20
Women - $15
Juniors - $10

Divisions available for all skill levels

Registration at 8:30a
Players meeting at 9:30a

Pros get cash.....everyone else gets merch.

This event turned out to be very fun last year (though the wind was pretty bad....even for Amarillo). It serves as a great warmup for the DisCrazy shootout (May 5-6). Just like last year, there will be NO OB on the course, as there will be several playing who have never played before. So if you have always wanted to try certain shots on that course but shyed away becuase of potential OB, heres your chance.

88 signed up last year (only 70 that played), and theres a very good chance there will be more this year. I will post a list of stuff that Jess has aquired to give away or raffle off.

Is it too far out for a wind forcast?

never...Actually, Im changing my prediction to light winds on Saturday....after possible snow on Friday :-(

;)"Light winds" ;) Yeah right! The winds came through last night with that storm and they weren't very "light". One site in town showed a gust over 90mph!! We lost the roof on part of our barn :(. Lots of other damage around town, power outages everywhere. The worst of the winds hit around 9:00pm, so it was hard to see the extent of what happened. I'll know more today once I get out and around. I hope the course didn't take a big hit again.

I did finish painting all of the Tee lines (Red for beginners, Blue for Pro) last night. The storm caught me while I was doing the last couple of holes, so those lines are going to be a little "wavy". It was very difficult to hold the paint sprayer steady :o
