First we all excited about the West Virginia Championships be held in Paw Paw West Virginia on June 24 & 24. This will be an Amateur only event allowing 144 total players to compete at the Woodshed and Whippin' Post. Format will be Three rounds of 18 holes 72 players on each course plus final nine for top 4 AM players. Saturday player check in will close at 8:30 then 9 am player meeting.

Myself being an old time golfer (hey not that old) and liking beadless plastic and feel, I really love plastic and the way 1080's Radius 1.1 feels in my hand and can't wait till all the ice melts so a have a chance to throw is sweetie. This will make a great putter and short range driver.

Good News for Travelers we have updated the Directions so everyone can get to both courses in Paw Paw, West Virginia. This has written directions along with a detailed map from Winchester,VA - Cumberland, MD - Hancock, MD. Also there is an exploded view of the Detour Road and Gaither Road (WV Roller Coaster)

The main reson to attend the WVC is the Trophies!!! And I will be making them for the WVC...there will be a Men's AM Champ and a Women's AM champ trophy...don't know what they are going to look like yet...but I can tell you they will be made from wood spun at 3000rpm.

This List is current now and I generally update the list every several days when I find the time. Once the event gets closer I will update it every day. (for some reason players tend to get more antsy if they don't see their name on the pre reg list then I get a bunch of emails)

Tim Haynes (Alexandria) took the Men's Trophy, after holding off Peter Hess from Vermont thoughout the final.

Anne Lewis from Vermont held off Rhonda Ritter to take the women's trophy..she won by 30 some odd strokes...please welcome her to the PRO Ranks!
