Ask KP about that one but at least we don't have to pay an additional 5 bucks per person to nor cal. :D
I think advanced is going to get a basket for first place too.

Never again will I play 72 holes the DAY BEFORE an event :p

Well I went out to play the temp course yesterday and there were a lot of tees and pin placements that were under water. I parked hole one but lost my disc since the pin was under water, LOL! The water keeps rising too and I have a feeling we will be utilizing more of the other open space for the temp course. Plus 16 17 and 18 are set up kinda wierd. 18 being over the pond to the practice basket. From what I hear there will be a rave that Sunday of the tournament so that made KP and some other people keep a lot of the holes close to the water but now that the water is getting higher the holes will be getting moved more inland. It's all messed up right now. :( . Too bad too since most of the holes are lefty hyzers. :D

Looks like we won't be playing the temp course in the green grassy park area. It'll be where we had it at the 2001 NorCal champs. A few of the holes will be different and we'll be able to mow around the trees.

Wish I could join you guys at Stafford Lake. Opening day for Golden Gate Park is on the same weekend. I feel obligated to partake in those festivities, even though Stafford is my favorite course. Then again we have the Jory Green Memorial in Vacaville on the same weekend too. Wish I could play'em all **** it!

Oh and yeah the grass is getting long. Hopefully most of the baskets will be under trees since we can mow under them.
With all these other things going on at the same time we shoiuld almost have just one course! But who knows what will happen?

Which one of the three clubs are you talking about? All three clubs got screwed IMO. Is this an example of gross oversight and miscommunication, or the coordinator taking something personal and turning a blind eye?

It's funny cuz I got the impression that KP didn't want to do the tournament when Neil wanted him to, so he decided to stay away from the Norcal Series. Funny thing is that the tournament isn't conflicting with the Norcal Series but with two other important events . Seems like everyone is trying to work around the Norcal series and getting s*#$wed.
By the way, Stafford will have at least 500 dollars added to the pro payout. :D

I'm also sorry this is happening -- but thought you should know that our date for the Grand Opening was determined by the schedule of the head of the Parks Department and other luminaries who should be there to unveil the course so it really was not under our control.

Heck...from my seat....

Stafford SHOULD have been the weeknd BEFORE it is now...

1) It would follow the St Pats tourney AND more travelers would be there.....

2) See #1

3) IM SURE that the coordinator KNEW about SF.... :(

4) Even though NOT on the schedule...Jory Green Memorial HAS been that weekend since it started....I think :p

5) See #'s 1 & 2

It really STINKS for ALL 3 CLUBS.....ALL within 30 mins of each other...
ALL who would be more than happy too be able too support the other....IF allowed....

Next time I'll start the post before we set a date. :D

The permanent course is set up in the first round layout so anyone can practice it right now if they want.
It's set up as traditional as possible except hole 3 will play from the short tee.
Temp course holes 11 through 18 are in and 1 through 5. :D
See you out there.
By the way Russ lost his green champion Eagle on hole 1 temp. LOL! Disappeared on the left side.
