I am in contact with Steve King pretty regularly and the concensus is that the MAC CLASSIC is NOT GOING ON THIS YEAR . The reason is the money raised for mac classic ( all the NIGHT GOLF that is going on at his house on wend and Fri nights ) is going to the 30th Norman Pro AM .
This was , as per King , Mitch's idea from the get go .
Their idea is to get the 30th to be an A tier event .

I know Kyle can answer some questions and I can too .

We shall see... that is 2 years away! I can't imagine a year without a $100 treasure hunt, drawings for swords and ice chests full of beer, not to metion more roped off areas than safe zones.

I heard it from the horses mouth ( Steve King ) as I wrote it on the board .
I too beleive that there is NO way a year will go by without the MACLASSIC but who am I to say . I still beleive there will be something going on just may not be that much money involved due to where the money is going .
But as of right now , it is true , NO MAC CLASSIC AT THIS TIME .

Im sure something will happen even if we have to collect cans to make it so, I'll talk to Mitch next time im over there and see whats up.

I spoke with Mitch today. The Mac Classic IS going to happen this year.

The date has been set in stone as well - June 30th - July 1st
