The newest Bexar County park is slated to open in August along Cibolo Creek at the site of some of the worst flooding in county history.
The park will feature a number of amenities, including a walking trail, an 18-hole disc golf course and a pavilion. It could eventually have soccer and softball fields and restrooms, said Precinct 4 County Commissioner Tommy Adkisson, who represents the area.

wrong park, the one you referenced is in Boerne, the one talked about in the article is somewhere near the East 410 and I 35 area I believe. Inside the loop and maybe around the old austin Hiway. I do not know that part of town very well, others might.
