I love the PDGA and sanctioned tournaments. I recently went to a rather small Ice Bowl that was a food bank drive. It was non-sanctioned, well run on a great 24-hole course with players that conducted themselves like professionals. There may have been 25 people there. I'm pretty sure there was not another tourney within 200 miles. I think more people would have come if they had known.
Is it OK to post / make aware / advertise here for fun-loving tourneys? Thanks.

Considering a PDGA Board member supports promotion of the biggest unsanctioned event on here, I would say you have a green light until a policy says otherwise. Although maybe it's only allowed if you're one of the four sponsors shown above?

It seems that they are allowing such posts now, as long as it does not BASH or conflict with the PDGA in any way.
There are multiple examples on the message board now.......

I would think that the message board is here for the members benefit not the pdgas. If thats the case then I'm sure any member would love to know about a tourney in their area.

There's a thread for all ice bowls here (http://www.pdga.com/msgboard/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=621209&page=2&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1&vc=1)
Probably better to post locally though, if your local club has its own DISCussion.
