The Donkeys have not seen a formidable defense like Chicago's which is the reason they will lose by 10 or more.
The only reason Indy beat the Pats was because Rodney Harrison was hurt, he's like the Bob Sanders of the colts.

When wagering, Don't take advise from blind fools....Colts faced 4 of the top 6 D;s in the league.
1st Ravens = W
2nd Jags = 1-1
3rd Oakland DNP
4th Dolphins = W
6th Pats (twice) =2W
Bears were 5th in the league
I think you may want to find another stat to prove your point there Old School
Colts by 30 bet the farm on it....you might as well bet the OVER (48.5)...the COLTS will take care of that by themselves

The over should be a safe bet unless the bears keep Peyton on bench.
Expect this.

Thank you Kev! The Bears are not near as good a defense as the Ravens, and they were at full strength. I predict it will be Manning vs Manning and Peyton will torch Daniel multiple times to Reggie Wayne. Colts 37 Bears 9.
BELIEVE IT!!!

This will be the 4th time in Super Bowl history that one conference's top Defense will play against the other conference's top Offense.... All three times this has happened, the outcome was the same....
DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!
2005 - Steelers (top AFC D) over Seattle (top NFC O) -- 21-10
2003 - Bucs (top NFC D) over Raiders (top AFC O) -- 48-21
1996 - Dallas (top NFC D) over Steelers (top AFC O) -- 27-17
Bottom Line
2006 -- Bears (top NFC D) over Colts (top AFC O) -- 20-17

I was born into the COLTS family in Maryland...Most of my relatives were COLTS season ticket holders back in MD...they hate the colts now since they moved. Don't make me get my baby pics out and show off my COLTS pride from back then.
The CUBS on the other hand are my squad for the same reason there are a lot of Braves fans. TV. The CUBS and the Braves were the only 2 teams always on TV. I just took a liking to the friendly confines of Wrigley, Harry drunkass Carrey and Ryne Sandberg...Playing hookie from school growing up whenever there were day games with the Cards or the Mets back in the good ole days of NL east.
If you look at the roster that the CUBS have put together and say they don't have a chance then you know very, very little about baseball. They're roster is STACKED this year. Obviously we need to stay away from the injury bug, but if the CUBS are healthy they will be in the playoffs.

COLTS got lucky?
That was one of the most lopsided beat downs ever at a Super Bowl!
The bears couldn't hold on to the ball? That's because they kept getting hammered by Bob Sanders (<-------should have been MVP) The COLTS had complete control of the game the whole time. The so called awesome BEARS defense couldn't stop our offense and they couldn't get off the field. (That's what really happened...it wasn't "dropped balls") PEYTON and the running backs carved the Bears up ALL NIGHT.
And the COLTS D was way too much for the meager Bears offense...
You can't really think the COLTS were lucky? If you do, maybe you ought to stick to things more familiar, cookin and blowin glass instead of analyzing football games cuz that was COMPLETE DOMINATION!

Bob Sanders for MVP -- good call...
Bears were the lucky ones to be as close as they were at the start of the fourth quarter --- before Rex Sucksman decided to start lobbing up some jump balls.

i did not try to analyze the game
i was more intereseted in the colt that had a doobie behind his ear , the tv adds , o and the half time show
i would agree with the defense somebody on that side of the ball should have been the mvp
4 or 5 turnovers that was the game
i can see how you liked it because of you being a true colt and all

I'm glad your not blind and you saw what we all did...I was starting to wonder when you said the Colts were lucky.
Slack the baseball season starts in less than 60 days...its baseball season now BUDDY!
If the Pokes can't beat Colorado, all the local teams will be out of the big dance by the first weekend, so go ahead and start crowing your Giants smack cuz it could be an early end of the season for the local hoops squads.

I wouldn't have had a problem at all with Bob Sanders, Addai, or Rhodes getting the MVP. Peyton did manage the game well though. I don't really care. It was definately not luck that won that game. Da Bears had quite a bit of luck just to be as close as they were. Hell, we gave 'em a touchdown headstart and still covered the spread with no problem. PURE DOMINATION!!! Da Bears defense couldn't stop us at all!! Especially the run game, the Colts just shoved the ball down there throat!! As I said before, they're defense could'nt hold a candle to the Raven's defense....hell the Colt's have a better defense than Da Bears.

I agree...Peyton was not the reason the colts won, what a joke.
I also heard he traded the Caddilace XLR for a brand new Escalade instead?? What a ****** bag! XLR's are as fast as a new corvette!?!

Big Dave would you drive the Escalade or an XLR? YOur a big fellas so I'm assuming an Escalade. But the XLR is one of the best cars on the road!
Did you see Dan Marino call the result of the coin toss an hour before the game? He said that 14 out of 15 practice flips came out heads and sure enough HEADS it is! Funny stuff.

What a trip! Sixteen hour drive to Indy and sixteen hours back. I drove through heavy snow near Springfield Missouri and it kept snowing 'til we got near Rolla. on the way home I drove through heavy snow near Terra Haute. The snow just added to the football atmosphere. :DMy family and I had a great time. We got to watch the game in a hotel in downtown Indy and stayed to watch the parade-celebration in the dome along with 65,000 or more screaming Colt fans Monday evening. :cool:The 65,000 were just the ones who made it in the dome. There were thousands more that just lined the streets to watch the parade. After the game and the handing over of the Lombardi trophy we went out on the streets. That was WILD!! Everybody was yelling and running around. Every car on the streets of downtown were honking their horns. Everybody was giving out high fives. We walked down the street to monument circle and there were thousands of people all around the monument celebrating their tails off. All of this was happening in near zero degree weather. The wind chill was below zero. The wind was numbing. By the time we finally made it back to the hotel we couldn't feel some of our parts. But we won the Superbowl! So who cares! I also lost my cellphone in all of the craziness. I took 5 rolls worth of pictures while there so I will share them with you guys at the Hillclimber if you want to see them. SUPERBOWL CHAMPS!!!!!!! :D
