anyone know what shape this course is usually in around 3/3? i will be going to chicago and want to play 3/2 and/or 3/3.

Might be muddy in places but shouldn't be too bad.

You're talking winter in Chicago, anything is possible.
If it's warm, some of the greens will be turned into stewy soup. Channahon is probably the best Will County course if it's sloppy out. If it's still cold, you can pretty much go anywhere. If playing Mokena, hook up with some locals or you WILL get lost. The flow of the course is absolutely horrible.
