For those of you who haven't heard, here's what's up with World Doubles this year.

Pro World Doubles will be held with Pro Worlds at Highbridge in Wisconsin. At this point, this is a one-year arrangement -- it doesn't mean that Pro Doubles won't be a separate event in 2008.

Am World Doubles will again be on the two great courses at Circle R in Wimberley, Texas. But the date has been moved up to March 24th and 25th. We're already taking registration, and we should be up at titledisc soon.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in Wimberley in March and at Highbridge in July.

I wonder if my Wimberley partner-to-be Mike Barton will drive to Wisconsin?
Just in case, I wonder if Chuck has a partner yet?
Anyone looking for a left-handed Grand Master with a recent clinical diagnosis of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder?
The medication seems to be really helping my putting, and I'm very familiar with the courses at Highbridge.

Mostly a worker bee during the 8-day stretch at Highbridge. I'll try to play in the several warm-up events on the weekend and days before July 4.

I plan on playing this.

I think that a lot of the top guys will not play, but I think you will have a better turn out overall.

Very excited to get some good solid practice rounds right before worlds during doubles!

It all depends on how much they want to keep the title in the US. This will be the first time in 5 years it will be easy for international players to enter the event and it's looking like a bigger turnout is underway. Those playing doubles will play the exact three courses they will play in singles so it makes the process very efficient for additional singles practice. Many of the top players haven't played doubles in the heart of Texas for a while so we hope that is an additional attraction.

(Well, perennial doubles dude, K-Mac should be changing diapers this year :))

There may be a Soleng/Soleng team on the lead card; at least before the first round.

It will be fun to have doubles back at the worlds. It was something to look forward too. Not everyone can take the time off in March to play Texas.

Deano...
