I've seen a nice alternative to the h-stake/corrugated-backer-board combo for holding laminated 11x17 tournament tee-signs. You use two of these things per laminated sheet, and they look like a wire stake with a loop in the middle and a loop at the top. The loops are made such that you clip/slide the loops of one stake on each edge of the laminated sheet and jam them in the ground.
Does anybody have any info on these kinds of stakes and where you can get them? I haven't been able to come up with the right search terms for google to help me.
TIA.

Maybe try the garden stake angle. I've seen some items like this in catalogs for signs in greenhouses and garden shops.

Thanks. :)
Sorry Keith, I'm old and don't have the memory you do. I was lucky to remember seeing them at all, let alone where!

Which aisle, and what are they called, in case I have to ask one of the friendly orange aprons for help finding them?

jon and or rhett..they are usually(i say usually because in florida,az and ga some home depots have squirrely setups) with the plumbing section by the little flags, or with the mailbox lettering stuff and numbers (seen here in about 75% of home depots i've been in)

They also have them at Lowe's 98 cents there. They are by the mailbox/house numbers and for sale signs in the hardware aisle at both Home Depot and Lowe's around here, in Iowa, not in the Plumbing section.
