No offense to anyone that enjoys the show but when does it end? I realize the show is very popular and generates huge revenue to media outlets, but when I watch the news, I expect to see local and world news events, weather and sports. I have been in Greenville, SC all week and the local media has made it out to be the main news story of the week. Trying to watch the local news has been frustrating because the stations have dedicated at least 25% of the newcast to the show the past two days and whenever I change the channel it seems the next newscast is discussing it. I am looking forward to longer days and warmer weather so I won't be stuck in a hotel room with little to do after 8pm. One positive though was the Sopranos was on HBO and A&E the past two nights.

move to Texas. All we see on the news is the weather... icy weather.. road conditions...wrecks...people playing the snow...more weather. It gets old, too.
I agree on AI, though, it is old. As long as ratings soar it will be there.

I was there a couple of years ago , and could not help but notice how unattractive the people were. Seriously, 4 days there, not one hot chick. It was sad! Possibly the coffee is to blame!

We have just as many bad throwers as Idol has bad singers. How come we don't get all of this media coverage during our Am & Pro World Championships? I'm sure we could all shank a few for the cameras without even trying too hard :D

Really? I'm from Seattle...I was born there and moved to Tulsa when I was 10.

I go back from time to time and I see PLENTY of good looking women, especially in Redmond and Bellvue? However Tacoma and Kent are full of trashy people.

missed Seattle, but watched Tuesdays show. I like the first few AI shows, but when they get to Hollywood, I could care less.
