Just wanted to give Vinnie and the rest of the Dragons some serious props for the new Rivery layout. Those holes under the cliff are awesome. It was raining when we were out there last week, so there was a waterfall coming off the cliff past the 9 or 10 basket. This is a beautiful central Texas technical jewel. Well worth the drive from Austin, esp. now that the 130 toll road is open (which puts you on I-35 just a touch North of the course).
Please let me know if I can help with making signs, a course map, etc.
Thanks,
-Lar

Which one is 11? Is it that first one that goes back towards the parking lot - basket surrounded by big rocks? I actually really liked that hole (even though the tee box was a huge puddle when we played it).
You guys have really used the natural features of that park to create a very nice course.
I'm serious about my offer to help with signs, maps, etc.

good luck with that Nate, at least you won't have to drive far when nobody shows up.
If the worse happens and we lose Lago, my vote would be to move that 1st Sunday mini out to Rivery....

What's going on at the Rivery? There's new mulch for the tees. Thanks to whoever did that. Also, how many holes are there at the Rivery? Our group plays 18 and we noticed mulch that points back down the course before hole 17. We haven't played that one. You just throw to the basket down the hill?

Does anyone know if the course was damaged or how bad the damage is. I would imagine the entire park was under water..

The course has been checked on and all is well. The only thing the water didn't do is mow the grass.

How bad is the new hotel and conference center going to affect The Rivery? I can't tell from the slideshow. If this is going to be closer to the theater then maybe it's OK.

There's always some clown that thinks it's easier to cut down a tree than learn to throw around it. This was probably the same thing.
