3 is the coolest, but 2 would make the best stamp, and would play off the wizard stamp best.
#2
(I agree that 3 looks like Rob Zombie, and a Zombie putter would compliment my Jerry wizard, yet I dont plan on carrying a warlock so it dosnt matter)

The warlock in #1 looks like a straight up , no nonsense putter would.
#4 would make a cool stamp.
#3 appears to be left handed and married to gateway (see the ring?).

I like #3 some what but #4 is simple and to the point.
I vote #4. ;)

#4 - VERY cool! IMO, pictures on discs should be reserved for tourney hotstamps...

I like the simplicity of #3. Kind of tired of the cartoon look.

Simplicity of 3? That's the most complicated stamp up there, and still cartoony looking...

#4, I like 3 but i think there will be some hot stamp issues with something with that fine of detail.

I think the best would be
the face of the warlock in #5 without the circle around it and the "Warlock" font from #4

I have to agree with JenPadam, about #5 without the circle and the font from 4. Split the prize money.

I voted for #2 although I was disappointed that no one submitted anything Grateful Dead related. (The Warlocks were the original name for the Grateful Dead)

I voted for #2 although I was disappointed that no one submitted anything Grateful Dead related. (The Warlocks were the original name for the Grateful Dead)
This was suggested on these very boards, and I think this was the reason Dave (or whoever at Gateway) did choose to put the Dancing Bears on the first 'test runs'; but I think they wanted to have something related to an actual Warlock on the production runs.

Dave,
If you need to 'bump' threads up to the first page, you're likely still using the default display preferences.
To make for a much better message board experience, click on My Home, then Edit for Display preferences, number of shown threads, languages, colors...
Then make the default display the Infopop style sheet (skin) as well as the following:
Default display mode: Flat mode
Default view: Collapsed threads
Total parent posts to show per page: 99
Total posts to show on one page when viewing a post in flat mode: 99
TextArea columns: 60
TextArea rows: 5

I'm not getting a lot of the votes (#6), but had a really fun time creating the art. I appreciate all the concepts and craftsmanship. :D

These are all really good. I don't know how difficult this would be(or even possible) but how about the first run having maybe a couple hundred of each and then going to the one that wins. If this disc catches on could make the other ones worth $$$$$$$$$$. ;) :D:eek:

#3 all the way, if the disc were going to be called 'The Batman' then I'd choose #4. If it were going to be called the Green Goblin then I would choose #6. I like #2 and #3 the most but I think #3 is the best.
All six entries are about ten thousand times better than anything I could ever produce so I commend you all for your artistry.

Heck, if it's w/in your capacity/budget, then 3 stamps differentiating the 3 plastics is a great idea!

And the Winner is # 3!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to all who sent us art and for those who voted.
In the event we decide to use the art from #2 and #4 for SS and E we will make sure to compensate the artists for their work..
We should be running the warlocks at the end of the week and start shipping them out next week.
If anyone knows of a retail store or has a favorite vendor that may want to be the 1st to get our new releases, we are starting up an AUTO-SHIP Program and the Warlock ( with the new art) will be the 1st disc released.
Please contact
[email protected] for information on the sales and distribution program!
