I'll be playing 2 Ice bowls this weekend...Nicholasville KY and Mt Airy Cincinnati...Heavy rain is in the forecast for both.
I'll be bringing alot of towels.
If anyone has played these courses you'll know how bad they get when it gets wet...I'm talking underwater for Nicholasville and mudslides for Mt Airy.
Gonna be a blast!!!

For the actual job of cleaning off water, mud and other grime, I like a section of an old beach towel, or a bath towel, etc. For giving the discs a final wipedown or to clean off any dust before throwing, I like a microfiber towel. The best deal I've found is at Target, in the auto care section, by the car wash supplies. They come in a three-pack for right around $5, and they're small enough to fit in your hand/pocket. Just don't drop them in the woods or in any burrs...that stuff is a pain to pick out of microfiber.

FlyDry towels. I always have 3 in the bag. If it rains, I usually carry 6. one in each pocket, one for disc, one for throwing hand, plus backups in the bag.

sleepy has it dead on. Buy a 3 pack of automotive Microfiber towels.. They are a good size and fit into ziplock bags for storage(so you have extra towels in the rain).
Microfiber towels usually hold about 7 times their own weight in water and they are also very tacky. if you drop them on the ground they will pick up the bugs on the ground as well as the leaves.
when looking for microfiber towels look for at least 20% polyamide.
(i use 80 polyester/20 polyamide towels).

Sheepskin for keepin em dry. Nothing dries as well. In the rain you can just ring it out and it still dries your discs.

I generally use whatever disc or ball golf or otherwise small towels I've accumulated through the years. I might try those microfiber units to see if they help. I did learn this recently though...
At least amongst the ball golfers it is said that fabric softener in the washer/dryer will inhibit any towel's absorbtion. So next time I bring a bunch in for washing, I'll leave that step out and see if it holds true.
Stay dry, all!

Fact what ever towel you use is fine just leave the fabric softner out of the washer and dryer sheets out of the dryer.
It took me forever to break my wife of using fabric softner and dryer sheets for towels ONLY.

The best I've found for drying a disc is a TYR Sports Chamois (http://www.srsport.com/product_info.php/products_id/2156).
