Spotslyvania VA - The Grange - about 15 mins off 95
Richmond VA - 2 courses
Rocky Mount NC - 2 courses down the street from each other - one is ok the other is awesome - about 20 - 30 min of 95
Fayetville NC - Arnette Park - about 15 min of 95
Savannah GA - Tom Triplett Park - about 3 min of 95

That's all I got off the top of my head.

correction.....Rocky Mount courses are only 7 and 9 minutes off of 95, definitely recommend you go to the one that is 9 minutes off 95 though, the other is fun but it is very short and tight.

New Quarter Park in Williamsburg, VA is about an hour off I-95, but I would venture to say it is worth the distance.

For warmer weather conditions, you may want to look into the Jacksonville and Daytona Florida courses? I know the Daytona course is 5 mins. off 95, but I think it's off the exit after the Orlando one (?). St. Augustine, Fla. also has a new 9 hole course, soon to be 18. Orlando has a few in the area too. Good luck!

Wickham park in Melbourne, FL(where it was previously a NT) is only about an hour away from disney and 10 minutes off 95. Barnett park and Turkey Lake would be worth going to while your around Orlando. There is also a small course in cocoa that might be worth stopping at if you go to Melbourne.(about 20 minutes north of Melbourne off of 95) it is called F Burton Smith.

The new St. Augustine course is on the course directory. It's called the "Good New's DGC", basically because it's on Church property. I believe it's situated on about 10 acre's of very dense Florida undergrowth, so to say the least, it's roughed in. They also only have temp. basket's, but are looking to purchase new one's and add the additional back 9 asap. I haven't played it, but a few of the guys doing the grunt work are friends of mine. Please write and encourage the course contact minister to continue supporting the GOOD cause and God will bless you for it! :)

I also heard a rumor that Daytona is working on another course!

Zeboulon Community Park, about 15 off 95, one of everyone's favorite course in NC, hosts a Supertour, used to be an NT. If not the Grange, then go to Zeb.

Zeb is 30 minutes from 95 not 15 minutes.

Ive been to New Quarter Park, nice park and course. Two sets of pads, nice baskets, mix of wide open and wooded and a disc shop. Seemed a little tricky to get in and out of though. Got a little lost.

Jacksonville, Fl has a nice 24 hole course located about 20 min off of I-95. You can go to web page (http://pub46.bravenet.com/forum/3900683694) and if you need anyone to walk a round with ya I'm sure somebody would be interested.

Can I narrow this down to courses near I-95 S between Fayetteville NC and Hilton Head SC? I've played all the Fayetteville courses so I know abt those. What abt the SC courses? I've played Florence. I'm looking at
Alice Woods
Edisto Memorial
Still Water Farms

Leaning heavily toward Still Water Farms. Any opinions on these? Any others close to I-95?

Alice Woods - don't know.
Edisto Gardens---very nice course with completely different front & back. Front is short, through an area of cypress trees on flat, grassy land. Back is much longer and more open, with several baskets on tall mounds.
Still Waters---In my opinion, a fabulous course---fifth best on my list of 85 courses I have played. It's a private course and I've only played during tournaments, so I don't know the details of playing it casually. Also, I'm not sure if the extensive artificial O.B., marked with small stakes, is in place all the time, without which it just wouldn't be the same. Check with a local contact person. Anyway, it has 5 sets of tees, the longest totalling almost 10,000 feet; a little bit of elevation, a lot of wind, and a mix of open, half-open, and wooded holes; lots of OB (if marked) and a couple of holes on water.

Can you give me directions to Edisto Gardens? The course directory is not very clear, plus the marker on the PDGA google map isn't even in Orangeburg!

I'll be driving on I-95 N toward NC.
