Hey everyone!
Plenty of disc golf taking place these days so I figured I'd give somewhat of an overview of the next few months.
Saturday, January 13th (this weekend)
Random Beaver Round Up III (http://www.takeflighttoday.com/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=133) is taking place in Beaver Dam. There might be a light dusting of snow before then but the course is very dry and very short and easy. This event has attracted nearly 40 people each year and we already have almost 20 pre-registered! Come on out for a good time.
Monday, January 15th
The Milwaukee County Sports Complex (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=6000+W+Ryan+Rd,+Franklin,+WI+5313 2&ie=UTF8&z=15&ll=42.874392,-87.991433&spn=0.013429,0.043259&om=1) is hosting another INDOOR DISC SPORTS night at 8:30PM. Cost is just $5 and you can throw discs around INDOORS! Come support this otherwise they will not offer it for the additional 2 nights this winter season.
Saturday, January 20th
Madtown Throwdown (http://www.takeflighttoday.com/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=113) is another doubles event which will take place at Hiestand. Please bring some canned foods as they will be donated to the Atwood Center.
Saturday / Sunday - January 27/28
Big Chill website (http://www.unclejoes.org/bchome.html) has all of your info. Again, doubles in winter so it should be a great time.
Saturday, February 17th
Green Bay Frozen Tundra Classic (http://www.takeflighttoday.com/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=135) is now in it's 3rd year of raising food and money for Paul's Pantry of Green Bay. He also has a cool looking website (http://rivers.prodiscgolfer.com/FrozenTundraClassic/FTC.html) done up for the event. Please bring some food for the needy. This is again a doubles event.
Saturday / Sunday March 24-25 (Tentative)
Wisconsin Tour Warm Up will be back for year 3 also! I am waiting for a few details from the Janesville Parks people but we are leaning towards hosting it on this particular weekend.
I hope this helps bring you up to speed with some of the things going on in the next few months.
