So this is a BYOP doubles round first then? Also on the Ace run round is it just one shot per hole or more?
We will honor partner requests, but we expect most people to have to be paired up for the event. The Ace Run is just one shot per hole, there will be added temp holes in a layout designed by Ziggy for this portion of the event.
two part queston:
What do you get if you win the doubles? How much of your entry fee goes to the doubles round?
You and your partner will win an IceBowl BagTag saying you won the Doubles portion of the event in your division and some prizes provided by our sponsors. The Doubles Portion of the event is a GDStour.com event we will be using the White Package for the event and Gateway will be providing $300.00 worth of prizes for the event. If you wanted to breakdown the $35.00 it would go like this:
$20.00 for the 3 disc, plus some goodies, players pack
$10.00 for the Putting Bracket for the 40% cash first prize
$3.00 for the three Knock-Out Tickets for your chance to win a new custom stamped wizard.
$1.00 for the Event Ace Pot for Prizes including Gorilla Boy Bags
$1.00 for food chilli being provided by the Rib Shack
So if you think about it none of the entry fee goes to the doubles round
Three part question:
Is there a point system for the ace race? Is an ace the only thing that matters, or do you get something for getting metal? How much money out of your entry fee goes to the ace race round?
Most Aces, if none Most Metal. We are going to keep track of the time of the Aces for tiebreakers Cuz just like at leagues he who is first WINS. We have MUCHO Prizes for Aces - Of course, some or better than others - and which prizes are better is a matter of personal opinion. None of your entry fee goes to the Ace Round It is being sponsored by Iron Lion out of Moline. In addition to the Aces and Metal there will be some CTPs in the Ace Run and of course there will be CTPs in the Doubles Round.
Quote
this whole prarie putting thing is confusing payout wise.
How so? If you win the single elimination indoor putting tournament you get 40% of the CASH pot.
So if 100 people come and you win the bracket tourney, you get $400.00
Come in second? You get $200.00
Come in third? You get $100.00
Come in fourth? You get $50.00
Come in fifth? You get $25.00
Highest placed woman? You get $25.00 or the same percentage as fifth depending on the # of entries
Highest placed amateur? You get $25.00 or the same percentage as fifth...
All other events are prizes to include: An Innova Traveler's Target, DGA Mach Lites and Gorilla Boy DiscSports Disc Golf Bags and a three disc players pack all for $35.00
If you want into our leagues progressive Ace Pot for a chance at more cash money then you join our club and if you join the Springfield Disc Golf Club at the same time you pay for the PrairieLand we will give you $3.00 off the membership. And to top it off your $12.00, instead of the normal $15.00, membership would include either a t-shirt or $6.00 credit towards anything in our clubs inventory
All this is available to you if you come down to Springfield with $35 and 5 cans of food for the St. Johns Breadline on Feb. 3, 2007.
And most importantly...
You come down to the event and you win the Putting Bracket... you get to say, "I took on all comers, from in and out of the state, and I am the Best **** Putter in Illinois!"
Braggin' Rights... earned not bought and I am pretty **** sure your winning putt is going to be caught on digital and streamed on DiscGolfTV.com for everybody to see, since the DGTV Reporter is bringing a camcorder crew of around 5 guys and DGTV wants footage from participants... as long as it digital. There will be an email given out to send digital footage take on the way, during and after the Prairieland to be reviewed and added to the DGTV report/video of the event to be played on DiscGolfTV.com.
Any other questions, just let me know
