I was at Hudson Mills friday and met with the park supervisor and got some positive results. They will have the concession stand open for the tourney so hot food can be obtained at the park. Also, recieved consent to do registration and lunch inside the large park office building. So registration will begin at 9 am on Sunday 1/7/07 inside the park office which has restrooms, concession stand, dining room, and heat !

If I had to take a guess.
I'd say 10 or more PROs, 60 AMs spread over the divisions. And that is if its a decent day, which I believe Sunday will be.

Does that sound about right Mike?

Here (http://www.pdga.com/tournament/tournament_results.php?TournID=6287) is the attendance for the last tournament TADGA held. THe weather was nice. I would expect this will draw more people (if the weather is decent), since it is in Michigan, and it is at Hudson Mills.

Sunday is calling for partly Sunny skies and highs in the 40's, & winds under 9 mph. I hope with that forcast and the beautiful Hudson Mills course we will get at least 80 (+) players and can handle as many as 168. The bigger the field, the larger the payouts, the greater the competition, and the sweeter the victory. Hope to see many disc golfers at this tiered event on Sunday 1/7/07.

I like to thank the 130 strong who attended this winter event. Where but Michigan can you get 130 enthusiast playing in winter conditions.

Congrats to all the winners, Geoff's game is going strong and Ziggy (the wonder kid) continues his domination in AM1.

I 1st and foremost want to thank all the wonderful volunteers who did a wonderful job at this tourney. They included Bill Gilbert, Doug Egbert, JP Trias, Kevin Williamson, Mike Boyd, Dave O'Shea, Justin Gill, Chris Woj, Mark Kruse, Ryon Michalak, and my sweetheart Sissy Hunter.

Getting the tourney completed just before dark and the payouts done at about 6:30 pm for a 10:30 am teeoff, 42 hole, 130 player tourney was accomplished due to your wonderful assistance.

All official TD results will be completed within the week and if there are any errors in the unofficail posted results please post here or email me at [email protected]

A special big thank you to the Hudson Mills staff that allowed us to use the park building, opened the food court and remained open an extra hour to allow the completion of the award ceremonies.

I finally apologize for the weatherman's faulty weather forecast for the 2nd round and any winners names that I may have mispronounced. I need to work on my fantastic volunteers penmenship

Again, thanks to all the wonderful disc golfers who made this a fantastic event. I will continue to learn and grow so that each subsequent event I TD becomes more classy, efficient, and flowing. Thanks to the greatest group of friends & fellow players in the world, DISC GOLFERS !
