I would have to agree on that Epic, though I gave mine to a buddy and he can make that disc flip twice with a thumber and park some great shots...

Could probably throw the Jaguar in there also due to its sheer size and weight. Better for a tray or dinner plate than a disc.

In response to some of the discs mentioned...

Epic - Really great trick disc. I used it to EASILY park Hole 1 Original with a thumber at Hudson Mills last No Foolin', wish I still had one. In addition if not for the awkward grip it would be a VERY useful disc backhand, with a lot of highspeed turnover, but countered by a ton of low speed fade, it gives me some of my biggest H-Flip S-Curves.

Maximizer - Great roller. I found it at one point this summer, and found that it was good for one thing and one thing only: precise rollers. It has a perfect amount of bounce to it, it flexes and hops off the ground for one good bounce and then rolls dead on for a bit.

Odyssey - Anybody that calls this disc one of the "worst ever" is a straight fool. This set of discs (yes, set, it isn't just one disc people) has been marketed from the beginning as something for beginning players, EDGE players. I worked at Highbridge Hills all summer and I didn't find much use for them... until 10-12 year old kids that had never played frisbee or disc before started coming in for lessons. The Odyssey set was absolutely brilliant for teaching children to throw. I couldn't find enough of them for this purpose. I saw only a handful of birdy-twos from kids on the course (I played Blueberry Hill, red tees with them) and every one of them was the result of figuring out something like hyzerflip or turnover with an Odyssey disc.

Dragon - C'mon... its a slower flying disc with a valkyrie flight path. I used it repeatedly at Ohio Northern in Ada, Ohio during a 20+MPH wind tournament that had water hazards. I didn't want to lose a valk or a wraith... so I tossed a dragon. It was slower, the wind had more time to affect it, but it always made it because I knew how to throw it and I never had to worry or stress myself over a possible lost disc.

I don't even throw ONE GateWay disc, and here I am absolutely an IMMENSE fan of the Odyssey set.

Had my discectomy on L4-L5 last November. Best thing I ever did. I got tired of 9 months with no sleep. (no pun intended). Of course, my L5-S1 is flat also, so I might have that one done down the road. Good luck with it, I feel your pain. Or least, I did until 14 months ago.
