I am wondering how bright the CFR Glo discs are?
I usually just use a Z or Champion with a nite lite. But of the glow discs, the Glowfly by DGA is by far the brightest! How do the CFR Glo discs compare? A CFR Glo Starfire or Orc may be worth the investment if it were very bright.

I use my Superglow wizard as my nightlight. I must say that no matter what you like to throw you have to say Gateway has the brightest glowing discs. They use a different material than the other companies(brighter and more expensive) and they use twice as much of it. :D

Gotta agree with Scooter. The Gateway Glow plastic is the brightest on the market.

But have any of you even seen a Glowfly?!
I've had an Innova glow eagle and photon glo XL and those paled in comparison. If you've seen a Glowfly - how does the glo Wizard compare? And how does the CFR candy edition glo stuff compare?

I've never seen Gateway glow, because there is nowhere to get it here. I was hoping there would be somekind of West coast product push, but no...I was able to sample about 11 discs one time, but only 2 were the good plastic, the other 9 were the regular plastic.

There is one of those at Dave Mac's house but I never gave it a good look. Don't they have a glowstick anyway? If so the don't count. :p

I havent seen a glow fly but I have had a CFR Glow banshee and it does glow better than the regular glow innova stuff but the Gateway stuff still glows better in my opinion and the odyssey stuff really glows.

Yeah I was in Chicago and ran the Glow Odysseys myself.
I know we went over board on the glow for those runs, They are not cost effect and most of our glow has about $3 of just Glow material in each disc.
gateway discs glow for 4 hours straight

I got a padded envelope yesterday with a christmas letter and two warlocks from Gateway and the warlocks were visibly glowing in the envelope as I took them out. It is ridiculous I had a regular glow wizard the warlock and a photon glow and the warlock pput them all to shame with a bright green glow you could almost read by.
No doubt GATEWAY knows how to GLOW!!! :D

The wizard that I won from Scooter that is hanging on my wall glows all night long. When I wake up around 5am it is still glowing! That's the best glow disc I have ever seen.

For folks looking into ways to charge their glow discs up, there are some products on the market I've just heard about that are reported to work quite well.
A fellow I play with ordered up a small battery-op blacklight LED as a test and reports the little unit charges plastic better than anything else he's used (flor. black lights, flashes, etc).
I haven't tried one out yet, but this sounds like a great advancement if it pans out. The things are solid state, so they don't break easily, are the size of an extra fat lighter, and quite affordable.
If I sold glow plastic, I'd look into these and make them available along with glow orders.
Best holiday wished to all, btw.

Because I haven't seen it mentioned yet, I will say that some of the brightest glow I've seen was Lightning's. The only things I've seen that really compare are Innova's high-grade glow plastic and the early runs of the Photon Putt'r.
I have not, however, seen Superglow yet. Based on reports from people I know, though, the Glowfly should be on par with Lightning and the others I mentioned...and Superglow should glow them all out of the water.

superglow does blow them out of the water, nothing like walking into the shelter at the most recent ice bowl after the first round and see my wizards and warlocks glowing brightly

Innova's CFR Champ Glow stuff: the browner it is, the better it glows. I've got a CFR Glow TL that is fantastic, and a friend of mine has a, I believe, Starfire and it is an absolute monster (in terms of brightness). I've never seen Gateway's stuff, but its tough to imagine it could be *too much* brighter than the CFR Champ Glow.
