What is the different between the inferno, the raging inferno and the raging inferno dt???

The DT uses the dimple technology. As for the Raging Inferno...it is the inferno top for the spirit wing. Basically a more overstable version of the inferno. Sound about right Dave?

I told Justin to send me some Raging infernos and i think I just got rages. That is unless the Raging inferno is a good bit more overstable compared to the Inferno.

From my understanding...you should be able to get them to turn over still...but not as much as the Inferno. I think the Raging Inferno is supposed to fall between the Rage and the Inferno.

I just wanted a disc I could throw hard that would bomb as far as the inferno. The Blurr is awesome but doesn't go as far as the inferno. The blurr is just like a Teerex.

Yeah...I've yet to see another disc on the market that compares to the Inferno.

I dont think the Raging Inferno has a spirit wing. It doesnt feel like that at all. It feels like a slightly lower profile Inferno. More overstable.

OK...so i was probably wrong. :D

I need to know more about the Inferno. Seems like everyone is raving about the Max D this disc provides. Do I need to have this disc in my bag? Currently I throw an SL for Max D. Can someone compare the Inferno to an SL???

Thanks.

from the Disc golf IQ test:

Inferno is to Sl like Bently is to Ford.

The inferno is fast fast fast and it is stable. I have not thrown the SL very much but the Inferno is going to be long and it will work left to right then back for a rhbh thrower. seems to fly better with a little hyzer release and plenty of height to work.

If you are interested I may have some very gently used ones PM.

I agree for the most part with these statements. I've had the Inferno in my bag for about 3 months, but only throw it on wide open holes because it was pretty much exactly where I wanted it to be out of the box. It is surprisingly "fast" because of its resistance to deceleration, not necessarily its subjective speed of flight through the air. It took a few weeks of throwing it to learn its subtleties, but I've personally found that if thrown high with some room to work left to right, it will penetrate forward for about 95% of its flight, then gently hyzer out near the end, landing while still moving forward. I also throw 2 SL's and a Champ SF, and although they aren't that similar to an Inferno, I'd say SL's are slower with a similar flight once beat up and more low speed fade throughout their stages of wear. I believe the RI would be more like a new SL or beat SF in flight characteristics, from what I've heard. Hope that helped some.

I think the biggest difference you will notice with any of the INFERNO inspired discs is that they are more likely to finish fowrard instead of stalling out and coming back.

Is up to $5.50 :D

We should be getting some Raging Inferno and Ranging inferno DT's in this week.
There is also a really cool deep blue color of the infernos.

I threw the RI-Dt today and it was very controllable obver a wide range of speeds similiar to the Infeno, iT also makes a pretty good roller!

Just Bunnell was throwing the Blurr as his main Driver at Sioux Passage today.
Sioux Passage requires lots of big straight drives, I think he won by 10. He said the Blurrs stablity just fit his release as he like to release with a touch of hyzer and get a little height.
I didnt play the event but watched the 1st 6 holes of the 2nd round and threw a few practice drives with the RI-DT and Warlock.
