What are the rules changes, if any, for 2007? Also, when will the 2007 Rule Books be sent to members?

None that I know of. I think they needed to reprint some more 2006 books. Any tweaks to the rules are handled as Q&As until the next rules update I believe scheduled for 2009.

Why aren't the Q&A's added as a supplement to the Rule Book every year?

Q&As have never been part of the printed rulebook. Marshals do carry a Q&A printout and you're allowed to print them yourself.

Printing them is a pain as you can't just print the hole set at once.

Someone has done it for the marshals so perhaps you could get a copy emailed by contacting the PDGA office? I know there were some posts a while back regarding this.

Thanks Chuck. How hard would it be to have a link under the rules Q&A that links to the file that the TD's are sent with all the Q&As in one document. If it is not a hard task, it might be well worth it so that TDs and anyone else can download it if they need it, lose it, or just want a copy.

I don't need them for a while with all the snow around.
One other thing about the Rules Q&A is that it is not easy to know when a new Q&A is added. Something in the PDGA announcements area would be a nice start when a new Q&A is available. Another idea: send out an email to certified officials with the new Q&A when it has been issued.

This issue is symptomatic of many issues with the PDGA website which is stitched together with primarily volunteer efforts. The Board has addressed this with more budget money towards getting someone specifically responsible for upgrading and maintaining the many parts of the website. This thread has good ideas as do many threads regarding improvements.
Frankly, I'm not sure the Q&A as it stands is the best appendix for the rules. There's more explanation than needed and it's not indexed to match up with the relevant rules it's explaining. I would like to see the Q&A distilled and tied to the rules so it's easier to reference on the fly.

Hey Chuck, you sure do have a lot of the budget details. Think you could share them with the rest of us, you know, the rest of us OVERWORKED UNDERAPPRECIATED VOLUNTEERS? Oh wait that's your line. I guess I'd be overworked if I built 6 private courses and ran a major and the PDGA ratings system in one year, and flew all over the country on the PDGA's dime, but then, I'm sane---so I wouldn't try that.
Ever think about cutting back on your schedule? How about cutting back on the part of your schedule where you incessantly whine about how you're overworked and underpaid?
