Myself and Joe Noble will be running this event while Scott and Moe are out of town. This will be Knapp brand event with Knapp discs and Knapp shirts like usual. The only difference will be myself and Joe Noble will be running things.
This year will be a 2 day C Tier with the first day in New Bern (one round longs one round shorts) and the second day in Kinston (one round longs one round shorts).
We should have everything figured out this week and will post a flyer and paypal and all that jazz later this week. You can PM me with any questions for now.

Just to back up what Joe said - the flyer has been made and the paypal is ready, just need to finalize a few things.
Joe will be the TD and, as I like to call it, I will be the Mike Norris (i.e. accepting registrations and such).
You can contact either of us with questions, but I might be a little easier to get up with since Joe teaches and can not be reached at some parts of the day.
Either way, this is going to be an exciting event and I am honored that Scott asked myself and Joe to do this. While no one can compare to what the Knapps do for tournaments, we will try our hardest to continue the great tradition of Knapp Brand Events.

The Knapps would like to thank MTL and Joe for running this event. This event is special to us, because it has always featured a course down east that didn't get an event during the year. Although we will not be able to make it we will be very active in helping Joe and Robert make sure that it will be a fun event for everyone. Thanks again to Joe and Robert for stepping up, and we hope you enjoy the 4th installment of One Moe Tournament.

I know "Billy Big Arm" four from the longs is a lot of fun. Keep in mind though that with a lot of people playing the event and the sun sneaking away much earlier with the likelyhood of colder temps......daylight and time are essential. The lack of four from the longs will just keep you hungry for the King's Cup! Wop, you are a New Bern guy...help me nail down some sponsors. Thanks!

Whatever is going on between you two, figure it out or don't. I, however, was asked my Scott and Melissa Knapp to assist them with the One Moe tournament. I am a TD for the event and will work my tail off to make it a positive and enjoyable experience. I don't particiapte in or endorse illegal activity and I don't go looking for it either. This thread is merely a promotional tool to provide information and encourage discussion about disc golf in New Bern and Kinston on December 16th and 17th. Personal conflicts, I feel, should be addressed in another location. I am not aware of what is going on between you guys, and I don't need to know. I just want to honor the tournament that got me started in this game I love and fulfill the request of the Knapps. Please consider editing/deleting your posts from this thread and discuss the problem elsewhere. This is not Roberts tournament and it is not my tournament. Anyone one is welcomed to play and all PDGA rules will apply according to the signed sanctioning agreement. I don't have issue with either of you and will gladly keep it that way. If anyone has any questions about this event please post them here as this is the official thread of the One Moe tournament.

I own two Inferno's, I've done my Gateway part. I crushed them and some Pro Wraith's and got **** near the exact same pull from all 4 (2 of each) and I think the Inferno total went about 3 feet further. I'll buy it from you...the shirt ( I wanted one when I first saw them ) where did they originate?

It was am FDC's in 2004 I think.
Greg Rameriez of Exton Beverage brought a bunch of items and donated them for the ring of fire and field event prizes.
we are all putting etc and EOG wins the first Flickball shirt and immediately puts it on. It was a jersey for flickball competition with "THE LAW" written on the back.
A few rounds later I won another Flickball Jersey so I asked somebody to open it up while I was putting in the next round.
The opened it up and held it up it was aparently a child small. Needless to say did not fit me that well.
We all got a good laugh and then begged neil and greg to try to find more FlickBall stuff for the next year. This is when the white T-shirts came out as well as some Flickball plastic cups.
Flickball is essentially the old paper football game we all used to play.
An online version can be found here (http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/contests/flickball05/index).

Come on Watson - you will love the course!!
New Bern, in my opinion, has the most gorgeous front 9 in NC. Rolling hills, big trees, grass fairwarys and the Neuse River are on this course. The Longs are a challenge - anything under is good. The shorts give the player 18 birdie oportunities and anything in the 40's is pretty good.
Kinston is the polar opposite of New Bern. The course is very wooded, but it is fair - the lines are there. A good score from the longs is even and from the shorts anything in the 40s is good.
bschweberger
Dec 12 2006, 05:11 PM
Kinston front nine tight technical wnat to come out of front no worse than 2 over. Back nine each hole is a great golf hole that can be deuced.
New Bern nicely used elevation with water in play on a couple holes.
Come on Down East, and play, it will good times sun.
where are the scores from last year, or any event that these courses were used?
