Back in '93 at the Halloween Classic.....before the limits on Group size......we had a 7 group back up on a hole that made us wait for 1 1/2 hrs to play it. :p
We gave a guy some money and he went down the street to McDonalds and got us ALL lunch.. /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

We were suppossed to play 2 rounds that day...I teed off at 9:30 am and turned in my card (for the 1st round) at 5pm. :(

Hey, at least I kept myself having FUN during a bad round this time, Bill ;) Haha!

At a tournament I played a while back, when we were one block from the liquor store we sent our caddies out to bring back supplies.

It was a sanctioned tournament. I can't remember if we sent an adult with them or if they just went for Cokes.

This is a funny one. At VPO this past weekend, Sunday morning we were backed up on a 815(?) foot hole that had shule like no other hole. The back up was 5 cards when we got to the hole. While waiting for the backup to clear, a player went down to the headquarters, about 1/2 mile away got a plate of food, walked back, ate the food. I decided to do the same. When I got back with my plate, someone else also went and got back. As best I can tell, there is nothing in the rule book against such occurances. There may be a courtesy violation if you don't ask the rest of your group, though. ;)

If you're up north again next summer you'll be having a blast. Play Am Worlds a couple hours away then the Pro tourney a few weeks later ! That's the good life.
