This is no joke, if McCoy wants to move down to Amateur and go for a AM World title in Milwaukee next year he has the option to do so, NO QUESTIONS ASKED! Even Barry Shultz could move DOWN if he wanted too.

It is interesting to say the least.

I think what the PDGA is trying to do is boost the PDGA renewals for next year...a pro can renew their membership as an AM and simply play pro at their next event and accept cash. Then it's back to Pro status.

2006 Pro renewal fee: $50

2007 Pro renewal fee: $75

I was about to say the same thing. If fact, Wise being in close communication with the PDGA during the Am Worlds, probably knew about this all the time. Sooner or later after he throws enough plastic into the pond at Blackhawk, he'll be back in the Am division to restock his plastic supply. :mad::p

pros like Kevin, Barry or whom ever is an elite pro would never play down to Am for any reason. I think they would rather go blind. When you get to that level of skill, its anybody, anytime, anyplace. If I were good enough, I would play pro and stay pro. There may be some rapscalions that will use this in a shady way. Believe me, any "bagger" that tries to pull the scam, will never hear the end of it and could live the rest of their life "branded". Please note that those who have suggested I move to novice 10 year old and younger girls are being cruel. I will take this suggestion into consideration, however I like playing Adv. Grand Masters and will likely remain there until I am 60. REST YOUR EYES IN SHADES OF GREEN. Doc
