Be sure to host hotel it for this one. Quality Inn Skyways (New Castle, DE) is only 15 mins from the course and 100 feet from Daemon's Bar and Grill which is usually where the players party is.

Wow - a 48 on Brandywine with 30 mph winds? That's gotta be some type of record. Or error. Yeah, I'm guessing the 2nd.

Wow...what a great event! In the year and a half that I've been playing, I have heard tales of the "mystical" Brandywine wind that blew discs out of baskets, sent hard drives behind the tee pads they were thrown from, and blew "at rest" discs off the ground... well, I NOW BELIEVE ALL OF IT. Steve, Yerd, Mary, and all the DE area crew- great job! Huge thanks to all the spotters who not only had to keep a sharp eye out on the players throwing on their hole, but watch for discs blowing in from others, as well. I've never had so much fun (and learned so much) while getting my butt handed to me... and I now understand why I should learn to throw a few heavy, overstable discs...
Hope someone got some good pictures of that beautiful rainbow that seemed to be going right over the course after the second round- pure magic.

No playoff...Jeff did split the last cash with those boys...Wow....What a crazy experience..The first time for the friZZaks at Brandywind. What a great course! I wonder what it plays like without the 30+ mph wind... Thanks to all who put it together.....

Delaware Disc Golf Club...thank you for running this amazing event....Insane wind, it was so much fun to see the crazy flights of my discs. playing with kit, amy, and eric was a blast!

OH, and MIKE MOSER....Congrats on your 100th PDGA WIN!!! that is so cool and rare, and to have that happen on your home course too....
sick shootin in constant wind of 30-35mph with gusts up to 50mph.

Imagine, if you will, playing in those kinds of winds and reaching into your bag to find only Puppies, Aeros, Aviars, XDs and old style Rocs. The last time I can remember breezes like the ones we saw this past weekend at Brandywine that is what players faced.
